The door suddenly opened from outside.
Qin Nanyu, dressed in a simple white shirt matched with black suit pants, appeared at the doorway.
His gaze swept across the desk, and not seeing Ji Weitian in front of the table, he was about to leave when, as if sensing something, he suddenly looked towards the window sill.
Ji Weitian had just turned her head from the window.
Their eyes met, and both were momentarily stunned.
Ji Weitian still had a big piece of watermelon in her mouth; spotting Qin Nanyu, she gulped it down in haste, nearly choking to death, and coughed twice.
Ji Weitian looked at the time in astonishment, confirmed it wasn't yet time to leave work, and then turned to look at Qin Nanyu walking in from the door, and asked,
"How come you're back so early today?"
After speaking, realizing that her posture sitting on the window sill was also a bit indecorous, she quickly climbed down.
