"I'm going to take a shower."
Shen Cheng said, trying to crawl out from underneath Shi Yu, but as she moved, he pressed her back down onto the bed with one hand and ordered, "Lie down."
Shen Cheng raised an eyebrow, the soreness throughout her body reminding her that, if it really happened again, she was likely the one who wouldn't be able to handle it.
Knowing that forcing the issue would backfire, she obediently lay still and said softly, "I need to go to work. If I don't get up and get ready, I'm going to be late."
Shi Yu turned over, lay beside her, pulled her into his embrace, holding her tightly, closed his eyes, and said heavily, "You have the day off today."
"A day off?" Shen Cheng furrowed her brows even more. "When was this decided? Why wasn't I notified?"
Generally, if a company is going to have a day off, they would notify their employees in advance to make arrangements. It couldn't possibly be such a sudden, unexpected holiday.
