Shen Qinglan felt a little relieved when she heard the crying in the living room finally stop, but she did not go out, waiting instead for Fu Hengyi to come in.
After Fu Hengyi finished feeding Anan, he brought their son in to see his mother, as promised. Upon seeing Shen Qinglan, Anan looked like he was about to cry, so she quickly scooped him into her arms.
Anan clung to Shen Qinglan's clothes, gazing at his mother with wide eyes. Shen Qinglan bent down and kissed Anan on the face. "You're doing great, Anan!"
Shen Qinglan looked at Fu Hengyi, "Fu Hengyi, thank you, you've worked hard. Grandfather didn't say anything, right?"
"No worries, Grandfather is just being temperamental like a child, he'll be fine after a while. We'll do this for the next few days, just leave him to me."
