Zahira countered James's fire sphere with a quick of her own which confused James as they were meters apart.
As soon as she kicked a slash of bluish black shadow magic rushed towards James leaving him no time to dodge. James used the butler who was still in shock as to what was happening as a meat shield.
When the slash made contact with the butler skin it tore through his belly making blood ooze out of the wound.
James pushed the butler towards Zahira, blocking her vision and giving him enough time to sneak up on her side using another fire sphere, injuring Zahira but at the same time, she used a spell of her own.
The spell covered the back of her hand in shadow magic which she used to slap James, crushing him into the wall. They both had suffered severe injuries but Zahira was knocked unconscious.
Suddenly Noah showed the message

Confused by the message, seeing Zahira unconscious but breathing, James turned his gaze to the butler who he now saw had bled out.
James observed that at the bottom of the water spells page, there was written healing spells. As he thought about them, the page scrolled down revealing the complete healing section spells.
The first spelled was already unlocked and read 'Instant Heal'. The spell healed the host's minor injuries instantly but cannot help heal severe injuries as well as any injuries of others.
James quickly used the spell which healed some of his injuries.
Despite still having wounds and being mentally exhausted, he started examining the little boy's physical and mental conditions.
To his surprise, the boy leapt into his arms, crying with snot was running down his nose. James felt good after helping the little child. It warmed his heart.
"What's your name boy?" James asked with a glint of kindness in his piercing diamond blue eyes. "It's Sam mister" he said as he wept on James's clothes. Sam continued "Thanks for saving me. That wench killed both of my parents."
Afterwards, he opened the 20 cells present in the dungeon with his water conjuration spell allowing all the prisoners to roam free. However, every prisoner's attention went to the unconscious women being dragged James across the floor. He was planning to use her as a ransom to try to get everyone out of the Smith residence safe and sound not knowing of the battle going on upstairs.
Before James could react, the prisoners grabbed Zahira and punched her awake. All the men and women except Sam were over the age of 20. They couldn't wait to kill the bitch who had took them away from their families and even murdered some of them in cold blood.
As Zahira awoke, all she could feel was pain. She wasn't allowed to even move as some men and even women had pinned her to the ground.
James covered Sam's eyes as he was too young to experience these kinds of things while he himself was fighting back vomit.
