There was a loud sound heard which was followed by the earth-shaking violently everyone ran for cover in panic, while Y/n and Ha-Joon used their minds and duct under the huge workstation for safety. They both had learned how to tackle a situation like this during their college days. However, As they duct together under the same wooden platform like a tabletop, the ground shook harder.
"This is insane we need to get out now or we will die here." with a now concerned voice y/n spoke and then grabbed his hand and ran like there was no tomorrow. Everyone was out on the road scared and worried about their families. Y/n and Ha-Joon finally came out onto the road where everyone was present accidentally banging into Caleb.
"Oh thank goodness you two are safe, I was worried that the both of you were trapped." Caleb looked really worried and also, there was this look in his which couldn't be described but was noticed by Y/n.
"Boss we're fine don't worry" she assured him that they were fine and came out without a scratch. As they spoke the warehouse suddenly collapsed and everything inside got crushed under the rubble. Thousand of dollars worth of equipment and fabric got destroyed because of the disaster.
Luckily for Caleb, he had already secured his property for a disaster like this. Taking in the massive destruction he decided to send his employees home for the rest of the day off.
" Ha-Joon let's head back home now, I need to plan to get my warehouse back up, or else the business will suffer. " He informed his friend about what he was thinking.
"Yes, let's head back it was quite an unfortunate day. I'm sorry Caleb," he replied gently putting a hand on his friend's shoulder consoling him for the events that occurred today.
"Oh, I almost forget I need to talk to you about something important. So let leave and get home freshen up and then talk."
"Sure, It's been a long time since we had a chat anyways ." He smiled while they headed to the car, got in, and drove off.
{Meanwhile at Y/n's House}
Y/n just entered her house where she looked extremely worried oddly the house was not touched. As she walked into the hall it seemed like nothing ever happened over her and left her confused.
"Mom, Dad ?" she called out to her parents frantically.
Her parents walked out at the sound of her voice and inquired what happened.
"What's wrong darling ?" her parents pry to know why she looked so worried.
"Oh thank god you alright. Where is Kay? Is he alright ?" she was literally panicking and her voice raised to the loudest octave.
"Jeez .... Lady demon of screams my eardrums are bleeding." Kay came out holding his ears and taunting his sister. She is the eldest, neverminded his taunts. Y/n ran towards her parents and brother taking them into a big group hug while tears streamed down her face.
She then proceeded to explain to them the massive earthquake that took place when she was at her workplace. They explained to her that nothing happened of the sort in their neighborhood and that everything was still like time had stopped. She was extremely confused now and wanted to prove that there was a phenomenon that had occurred and maybe they were just busy and didn't pay attention.
"But I'm telling you that there was an earthquake and it even destroyed our warehouse." She said looking with pleading eyes towards her family.
"If that's the case then let's check the news I'm sure you must have been stressed or worse did you take your medication for the hallucinations you have been having lately ?" Her mother asked her with concern lacing her voice.
"Of course mom you know I have been taking it regularly. But we are here talking about the strange phenomena that happened only in one part of the town. I mean how big is this place it's just ten minutes away from here and it was so strong anyone could've felt it." she elaborated herself .
Her father switches on the television and finds nothing except entertainment and politics been shown over the news.
"See I told you nothing happened." Her father shrugged and pointed to the TV.
"Ugh... I will go crazy at this rate. It's so strange and weird that such a huge earthquake was not recorded." Lowering her head in defeat she spoke and then headed back to her room. But something else was about to happen and it was going to be so strong that it was going to leave a lasting impression on her forever.
{Back at Caleb's House}
After they freshened up and grabbed something to eat, Caleb and Ha-Joon sat down and started discussing the events that happened today. They didn't know that there was no evidence except for the employees of White Cape who had witnessed it.
" Well, It's been a long time indeed and I needed to ask you something important which will benefit both of us," Caleb spoke about some sort of a deal. Ha-Joon looked at him cluelessly.
" Hmm.... what are you proposing ?" he spoke questionably.
"I want you to be the brand ambassador for White Cape, It will benefit both the company and you. " He laid it out there for him to grasp at the offer he was making. Since both of them were childhood friends he immediately said yes .
"Of course, that is a brilliant idea. Are you gonna be my personal designer?*Wink Wink*" Ha-Joon teased him playfully.
"Hell no, Miss Lee is your personal designer and she will also be managing you." He informed him.
"Woah... Is she that good? Damn, she looks so scary like I mean professionally and pretty, unlike the girls I have met who throw themselves at me." speaks worriedly and flirtatiously earning a weird look from Caleb like WTF.
" Yah Yah ..... She is a bold one but what the heck you damn flirt. Anyway, the girls who throw themselves at you are dumb and my employee is the kindest and straightforward person I have ever know." Caleb emphasized a bit on Y/n's personality from what he saw back earlier when Kathy pulled that stupid stunt at the warehouse.
"Wow ..... You know her quite well huh?" wriggling his eyebrows he teased Caleb.
"Right Right anyway I was planning on making her permanent she joined initially as an intern. But her work and attitude are the best fit for the job." He spoke lost in thought only to find Ha-Joon staring at him with a weird expression.
" Hehe, She sounds like my type though. Anyway it's late I'm gonna go and crash I shall see you in the morning nimble nuts." laughing and teasing him again he ran to his room.
"You little Sh&% . You're dead when tomorrow just you wait" sticking out his tongue threatening his best friend in a playful way.

What lies ahead nobody knows at this point the nightmares continue for both Ha-Joon and Y/n, connecting them even deeper than anyone could imagine. The deity of wishes had already arrived on the human realm and had taken up the forest nearby which was now shielded with a triple shield bestowed on by the gods themselves. Never would anyone have imagined something like this happens in reality. It was an unfortunate scenario and havoc lurked among the forest.
