Why not just plainly say, since she is a woman to be married off and her fiance is an Honorary Noble with not much involvement with the Royal Family or the Kingdom, the Kingdom dares not let her know too many state secrets, and that's why they've been gradually taking away her duties? Couldn't they just be upfront about it?
"Is this really okay?" Shane glanced at Luoqi and said, "To put it nicely, you're gaining freedom, but to put it bluntly, isn't this just stripping you of the power you hold?"
"So what?" Luoqi didn't care at all and said, "Unless I choose to inherit the throne, this is something I would eventually have to give back anyway."
That did make sense.
