Lunchtime comes around and I finally felt bored of lounging in bed. I sat myself upright and found supports to pull me up from the bed as my legs wobbled to support my weight.
My legs quivered for a moment, but ultimately, I could stand up straight and waddle to the door. I felt a little famished and grabbed the tray Cain had left breakfast for me before heading towards the kitchen.
My door clicks open and I stepped outside to the connecting space between the kitchen and living room. I then waddled towards the table just before me, nearly tripping as my feet slipped on a piece of paper on the ground.
I managed to catch myself, but the same couldn't be said for the tray as I watched it fall to the ground in breakneck speed. I winced at the thought of cleaning the broken shards as well as the process of finding another set of glassware since we were semi banned from the shopping complex nearby.
