Arriving at Rose Valley, Benjamin Jones carried Alice back to the villa. Catherine Ford wanted to see Mary Scott off, but Mary had already jumped out of the car. "I live just over there, it's really close. Thank you both for today."
After speaking, Mary waved at Catherine and the others, then walked away toward her place.
Catherine had more to say, but when she saw Mary's fragile yet stubborn figure disappearing into the distance, she merely sighed and followed Benjamin.
Benjamin heard Catherine's sigh. "Why are you sighing?"
"You tell me, how could Director Locke leave such a beautiful woman stranded in the middle of nowhere?" Catherine muttered, her impression of the famous top director plummeting to rock bottom.
"Probably had an argument." Benjamin replied carelessly, clearly uninterested in other people's emotions or experiences.
