I had been reprehensive about the whole event, but after all that had happened, it had proven quite useful in many regards. The best was yet to come still, as their were more interesting characters.
There were some I had met before, some I had heard of in passing, and some I'd never forget. I was about to meet one of such people, but before then, my guard had questions.
"The whole thing with healing magic… is it really that bad?" A thought shot into my mind.
"It depends on how you look at it. There were child experiments, taking advantage of people trying to flee war, working with demons, spirit degeneration, invasive surgeries and locking the people that did survive into multi decade commitments… but it was useful research, and necromancy does save a lot of lives…" Putting it all in to one sentence really made it worse.
"And… who are we talking about? The Lightning Maiden? Her?!"
"Yes. How do you know that name?" I knew it too, but that was all I knew.
