Everything was occurring within the Consciousness Space. Whether it was shearing the God Star's wool, or Ange's battle with the Origin Divine Light—all of it happened in the God Star's Consciousness Space, entirely on the consciousness level.
Although many companions had been summoned, none of them had physical forms; they were all projected here via the consciousness link between Ange and his original body, just like Ange himself had been projected earlier.
Only consciousness could be sent, and to leave the Consciousness Space, they'd need a vessel to carry them, just like the planted construct Ange had initially possessed.
