Alex pulled all the Elixir out from the sludge that Whisker had brought, turning it all into half a cauldron full of Elixir. This water too had been created by him, so when he stepped away, the water disappeared, leaving behind just the Elixir.
This time, there was enough Elixir that Alex could see it all with his naked eyes. It coated the bottom of the cauldron like before, but this time, it also pooled a small amount at the bottom.
Alex reached in and touched it.
It had the feeling of a dense honey or syrup. It no longer felt like water.
'So this is what real Elixir is like,' Alex thought, wiping a bit out with his finger. He looked at it in the light. It was no longer colorless like before, but had a tinge of brown or yellow color to it.
It was so light that had Alex not been searching for differences to water, he would not have easily noticed the color.
"It actually has a smell now," Alex said with surprise. "It's very subtle though."
