From MC's Perspective:
Inside the mana chamber, I started running the Gravity Ark Mental Method. Slowly, the grey mana particles moved towards me.
When the mana particles entered my body, I started to guide the mana particles according to the mental method.
After circulation, the refined mana entered the mana core space. The quiet, pebble-sized mana core immediately sensed the arrival of the refined mana.
In the blink of an eye, it absorbed the incoming mana. Seeing that, I continued to repeat the process.
Outside,
"Why don't we take him with us outside for lunch?"
"This will ease the tension between us," Susan Park suggested.
"I'm in. But I doubt whether he will come," Wilfred Cox said.
Susan then turned towards Jason Nicholson and asked, "What about you?"
Jason Nicholson frowned. To be honest, he thought of Vincent Carey as a rival. He was yet to get back his revenge.
He didn't want to relax before that.
"You guys can go with him. I'm leaving," Jason replied.
