Lind was gripping the edges of his bench so hard the wood had cracked despite being reinforced by Forging and weavings. The battle his wife was going through was dangerous at first but he had been confident she would acquit herself well no matter what.
The instant that serpent appeared, however, his instincts screamed at him even though it was just an image.
"So, a demon currently wields that troublesome item. I wondered what happened to it after I killed the last one." The Immortal Berserker suddenly spoke up. He had been silent since the time Lind brought him back.
