Qiao Li smiled, a little surprised that he could still manage a smile.
But indeed, the corners of his lips were turned up.
"Alright," he said, "it's time we had a chat."
Next to the children's amusement park was a coffee shop, likely designed to provide parents with a place to relax and rest their feet. After all, caring for an energetic child required a lot of energy and physical strength.
The coffee shop was very quiet.
Su Lu didn't choose a corner seat but picked one by the window where she could see the amusement park and ordered two cups of coffee.
She waited until the coffee was served before she started the conversation, "What should we talk about?"
Qiao Li took a sip from his cup, "Your call."
Su Lu smiled helplessly, "Anyway, I should start by apologizing to you."
Qiao Li was silent for a few seconds, then let out a soft sigh.
Su Lu pursed her lips slightly, "I'm sorry, thank you."
