(General POV)
Location Warhammer Old World-Kislev, North Oblast: Edge of the Corrupted Tzeentchian Lands of the Dark Legion, Battlefield; Dark Legion vs. Kislev
Olesya Pimenova has killed the last hound that once were trying to take her down like prey, but this old veteran, showed why she has survived many encounters with death.
As she pulled out her spear, from the skull of a mutated hound that Chaos warbands and tribes, then as she tried to catch her breathe, Olesya, managed to hear some snow crunching.
With her instincts screaming, warnings to her mind, trusting those very instincts, she rolled to the side, as a humanoid figure with claws leap passed her, pointing her spear at the attacker, Olesya, she recognized it as a catsaber, as said cat beastman hissed at her.
Wearing some rags to cover her chest and crotch, with a fanged necklace, and wild hair shaved in the side, this catsaber, crotched down on all four ready to pounce at Olesya.
And Olesya getting into a low stance, she prepared for the incoming attack, when another catsaber came and stood in front of the first catwoman that tried to face her.
This was the young catsaber's chieftain, Tai Tai Shien, her cat-ear hood flowing in the cold winds, while Olesya couldn't hear what the chaos-touched catwomen were talking, she felt threatened and knew she was still in danger.
She saw as the first catsaber, lowered her head and quickly rush off, leaving Olesya with this unknown and clearly superior ranking catsaber to deal with, quickly straightening up, and getting into a strong guard, with her spear pointing straight at her enemy, she saw her enemy turn to face her.
She looked more like a human like than savage beastman, with a wild but pretty face of a young tanned woman, with bright red eyes like that of a cat and when she smiled at her, Olesya, she saw her sharp jagged teeth.
Tai Tai, saw Olesya fight and kill a lot of chaos-touched hounds and even Flesh Hounds of the Blood God, and she was instantly excited to play with this prey.
She saw as one of her clutter, tried to attack and fight the old human woman, and she had to step in, Tai Tai commanded her catsaber youngblood to leave Olesya for her, and continue to hunt somewhere else, showing her respect and leaping away, leaving her to face the human woman with a spear.
Now they were standing face to face, she smiled at her first, before she bended slightly forwards and spreading her arms, with a flick of her wrists, her massive claws sprouted out the sleeves of her jacket.
Tai Tai, started to giggle, before she spoke in man-tongue, "This is going to be fun. Let the Bat God, watch us now. As with "play" this game of death. Hahehahehe, hope you can keep up." in a teasing and mocking tone, laced with clear killer intention.
Olesya, groaned as she knew that this young beastwoman, was strong but too arrogant, but it didn't mean that she wasn't dangerous this was going to be a hard fight, as they stared each other down.
Suddenly Tai Tai rushed forward at Olesya, with her in a low running stance, as Olesya reacted as fast as she could performing a stabbing attack, at the fast approaching cat beastwoman.
In another part of the battlefield Kostaltyn and his Great Orthodoxy of the Ursunite Faith, was engaged in intense battle with the Carnage knight, Dullahan as he lead the Darkwings in this battle, between these two forces.
The fanatical followers of the absence and wounded Bear God, Ursun, were fighting against the carnage-touched warband, and the unknown laharlish daemons.
With Dullahan cutting and stabbing all the fanatical Kislevites of the Great Orthodoxy, as horsemen rode towards him in hope of using speed, height and reach to overcome Dullahan's unnormal power and strength.
In response of this futile attempt to overcome him, Dullahan, rise his blade in front of himself, in a side display of it, the common stance of challenge that many knights are known for, a clear sign from the headless knight of slaughter, accepting the challenge and meeting it head-on.
The small group of horseback riders, got closer to Dullahan, so he struck first.
Rising his shield high, and holding it in a strong grip in front of himself, as he performed his iconic shield rush attack, from the Castlevannia world, Dullahan's strength and the force generated from his shield bash not only pulverize throught the six horsemen, knocking the broken horses away, but also the riders.
They hit the ground in such a force that a couple died, while the rest suffered intensive damage, struggling to stand it was a futile struggle, as Dullahan and Ammon were already upon them with his blade ready to strike them down, and add their souls to collective inside the mauve and light purple blade.
Meanwhile Kostaltyn was fighting against gibbet caged daemons (mortifinis), and the slaaneshi like she-daemons (succubi).
His burning mace and holy banner, (I don't know what to call the candle-stance that Kostaltyn uses in battle, if anyone known what that thing is called, tell me.) striking these daemons, his strong fanatical faith and devotion empowering Kostaltyn's strikes, allowing him to hit and take down these daemons of Chaos.
As they were burned in the holy magical flames from his [Brazier Mace of Ursun], while these vile she-daemons tried to tempt him and make him fall into illusions of their disgusting charms, but his will and faith was much stronger than their malicious charm.
Having battle in the Realm of Chaos, has more than proven the Supreme Patriarch's strength of will against Chaos.
Another mortifinis with a pair of broadswords, came to attack Kostaltyn, he stepped back and using his banner to block the daemonic swords of the unknown daemon, as he talked to the lesser Carnage daemon, "Vile filth of the Dark Gods. Face the wrath of Ursun!!" tightening the grip on his burning mace, and in a strong swing he struck the gibbet caged daemon, smashing through the gibbet, and smashing/burning the ghoulish skull like head of the lesser daemon, banishing it back to the pits of Chaos.
Then the Supreme Patriarch, saw Dullahan standing some distance from him, as they locked sight on the Carnage Knight of the Dark Harbinger, the two enemies stared down at each other, Dullahan pointed his blade straight at Kostaltyn, as Ammon spoke for him, "I'll shall rip, your soul off you're still breathing body." Kostaltyn frown, and responded, "My soul only belong to me and Ursun. And in his name, I'll shall rid this world of your filth!!" as they both charged at each other, to begin their death duel.
As the Great Orthodoxy and the Darkwings were fighting against each other, another duel was occurring in this battlefield.
Yuri the Exalted Daemon Prince and near Slayer of the Bear, stood in front of the legendary heroine of Kislve, the famed Golden Knight, Naryska Leysa.
Yuri like many others once admired and respected the Golden Knight, but not anymore, now the Godslayer craved her life and soul, to achieve another deed that no other Chaos champion has ever done...kill the Golden Knight.
With a wicket grin on his daemonic face, as he swung his [Plague Blade] at Naryska, which she blocked the downward cross slash.
Her enchanted sword and armor, increasing her strength, allowing Naryska to willstand and be able to stand against a Daemon Prince that is on the exalted level.
Yuri spoke, "Impressive. You live up to the tales of your great strength. But..." adding more strength through his arm, and pushing her down hard, as her knees buckled under the daemon prince's strength, he continued to speak to her, "...it is not enough, to face against me. Little woman." as Yuri hit Naryska with his tail.
The blow hitting hard to her side, and sending her back, impressing Yuri that she was launched to the air and was still on her feet, a worthy opponent...a worthy soul to devour.
Roaring he charged forward, with his massive nurglish sword over his head, ready to be strike down at her.
Naryska, seeing her enemy fast approaching her, she ready herself grasping her [Ursun's Claw] in both hands, lifting it into a high position, pointing straight at her approaching opponent.
Yuri swung at her, and Naryska dodge by spinning to right avoid the plague-ridden daemonic sword that smashed onto the snow, so she responded by slicing to the stomach of the Daemon Prince, draining some blood but the wound wasn't grave.
Yuri in turn responded by swiping his new massive clawed-hand, at the Golden Knight, unable to dodge, Naryska had no other choice but to block and take the blow.
A heavy impact and the sound of scrapping metal was heard, this attack knocked back Naryska more than the tail-strike, as her golden greave covered legs, scrapped and dug into the snow forming two parallel trails, marking the distance that Yuri's blow pushed her back.
With no time to rest or act, the Godslayer, was already on her again with his blade and claw ready to strike her down, this will be the greatest and most fearsome battle that Naryska has ever been in, as she rised her guard and welcomed the Traitor Prince's challenge head-on.
And apart from all these duels and battles was another important duel between the Chosen of the Gods and the Smith Hero, as Ixion/Tzeentch was in the middle of his duel with the blacksmith hero, Grigori Medvezhiy, clashing weapons over and over again.
Grigori proved he is a strong man, but in comparison to a Chaos blessed warrior with four arms, he was but a child facing a fearsome monster.
As the Changer commanded the avatar to swing the [Hellbane] in a horizontal slash, while he also attack with the [Balewing Halbert] in a reverse arching slash.
Grigori knew he couldn't block two attacks at once, so instead he backstepped and dodge sword swing, but was cut slightly by the polearm's swing.
Blood trickled down his muscular left arm, he still stood strong and bravely against Ixion, who struck at him again, as he performed a forward spinning attack with three downward swings of Ixion's weapons all coming down at the blacksmith.
Again Grigori only option was dodge the unorthodox attacks, but he wasn't fast enough or smart enough to outwit the Lord of All Change twice, with a same tactic.
With a subtle psychic pull of Grigori, thus making him be caught in the range and full brunt of Tzeentch's attack, a halbert slashing across his chest, followed-up with deep cut on the back of his right shoulder, and then a heavy blow that hurt and burned his back.
This truly impressed both Khorne and Laharl, with Tzeentch's brutality and ingenuity in this battle, they watched as the kneeling and bleeding Grigory, tried to push himself back onto his feet, only for his face to come into contact with a vicious knee-strike from Tzeentch.
The sound of bone crunching and breaking, as blood soaked over the azure knee-guard of Ixion's tzeentchian state, Grigori was lunged a bit into the air, smashing against the snow covered ground again.
Regardless of the clear difference of power and advantage between the two of them, it was still a entertaining battle, and Grigori's death is inevitable at this moment.
He may be a named hero, it not the same facing a truly powerful being of Chaos, let alone one of the Gods that governs over one of the aspects of Chaos, it was clear that this battle was meant to be short...and end in death.
Tzeentch made Ixion walk next to the beaten Grigori, feeling kinda of disappointment that such a famed warrior wasn't able to provide a portion of a challenge, as Mother Ostankya or Ulrika Magdova were able to do.
But a soul is a soul to consume, lifting his [Corrupted Ursunite Scepter] high, he waited for Grigori to steer and when he did, the Changer commanded Ixion to swing down at the beaten man.
Smashing the scepter onto the back of Grigori making him scream, lifting the scepter again and striking down again, and again, until the sick sound of a spine bone snapping was heard, along with soundless gasp, for it was utter shock of agony then quickly followed by numb sensation, coursing through Grigori's body.
Unable to move or protect himself, he began praying for forgiveness to Ursun for failing, as Ixion reached down and grabbed onto Grigori's body, lifting him up from the back of the neck.
Tzeentch/Ixion, had Grigori literally in the grasp of the avatar, tightening his grip as the clawed fingers of the gauntlet piercing onto the flesh of the man, then the Architect mentally spoke to his brothers for any suggestions or request on the kill.
This made the Warp Gods grin within the avatar, as the Blood God and Rot Lord turned to the Dark One with a clear looks that said, "Well got anything to share?", Laharl laughed, as he thought quickly on what kill would soothe this moment...
He told all his brothers of a certain...fatality...that fit Tzeentch to the "T" and would be interesting to witness in real life then on a memory, Tzeentch specifically loved the idea, and immediately started to make the kill.
Using his eldritch, chaotic powers channeled through the left lower-arm of the avatar, making it glow in swirling ever-changing color of cyan, sky blue, indigo, and pink with eldritch runes floating around that same arm, once fully charged, Tzeentch struck his opened palm into the chest of Grigori.
That blow channeled the unexplainable power of Tzeentch through the body of Grigori and literally blasted out the soul of Grigori, floating in a ethereal specter free from it mortal form, surprised and confused on what happened to him.
When his body still in the hand of Ixion Daemonhart, was torn apart in brute force, blood and gore splattering everywhere, as the "eyes" of Ixion glowed a bright cyan, Tzeentch released a terrifying aura from Ixion, as Grigori felt that his being, was being pulled toward the Tzeentchian Champion, then he heard a ghastly roar and the force that was pulling him grew in strength.
Afraid of what happening the soul of Grigori tried to flee and escape whatever Ixion was doing, but the pull was to strong, as parts of his spiritual form was being torn off and consumed by Ixion, until he was completely devoured.
All the older Warp Gods, were impressed especially Khorne and Nurgle, as Laharl suggested they can perform something similar in their own respected style, which made them think of ideas, meanwhile Laharl was just ecstatic seeing an actual Mortal Kombat fatality, from Ermac being done in real life, and just he thought it fitted with Tzeentch's eldritch, vibe perfectly.
But they can enjoy the kill more later, for now they have a war to fight and win.
Returning to the battle between Kostaltyn and Dullahan, were clashing weapons, but even with Kostaltyn's stubborness and fanatical fury, he was a little challenge physically against Dullahan.
The daemonic, headless knight was twice the size and strength of the Supreme Patriarch, blocking, parrying, and knocking around Kostaltyn's attacks, all of them.
With a upward slash, knocking off the Kislevite's mace and banner, breaking his guard and thus allowing Dullahan to counter with a brutal shield bash, across Kostaltyn's face.
Blood burst out the side of Kostaltyn's head, as he was lifted off his feet, slam down onto the snow, before Dullahan could finish his opponent, some armored kossars came to their leader's defense, standing directly against the favored Champion of Laharl.
Ammon found the sight amusing, and suggested to his partner and body, that he should butcher them quick, that they weren't worth much effort or attention of their, and Dullahan agreed.
Steeping forward, he easily dealt with these soo called higher ranking troops of Kislve, with absolute ease, the first yelled at Dullahan as he rushed in and received a powerful slash that cleave him in two across the body, the next two were quickly killed with a three slash combo, cutting the two men across the chest horizontally, cross-slash, and ending with a reverse, spinning, rising slash.
Blood gushed out, as the final slash knock them into the air, crashing onto the ground dead, then the last armored kossar perished with stab into the belly with the soul blade, piercing out the back of back of the man.
Dullahan rip out, his blade from his last vanquished victim, as Kostaltyn was standing back up, still not giving up, Dullahan respected that and will enjoying crushing his spirit, along with the old man's body as well.
He stomp forward, swung his soul blade in a heavy straight downward slash, the Supreme Patriarch rised his holy banner to block the attack, but the force and power was soo strong that it manage to cut through the pole of his banner, and maybe saved his life.
As the slash was slightly deverted and weaken, but it still struck him, cutting him down his left peck, hissing and groaning a bit from the stinging pain.
He took some steps back, as blood stained his robe, plus he just lost one of his weapons, making this battle much more difficult for him, against Dullahan...
