Ekansha's POV:
It's been more than three hours. I wait impatiently in Bhairavi's room while she is busy
talk to her mom and dad.
I looked around. Her room was well furnished and
simple with wooden floor. It seemed to exist
no royal feeling in her room. It looked like a modern room with some antique paintings hanging over the walls.
The door flew open and I saw a tense Bhairavi
face.
"What did they say? Did they agree?" I asked.
She looked at me for a second and lowered her face
down.
"It's okay Bhairavi. I may be physically far away from you but I am always with you in your heart and
mind. Rejoice." I tried to comfort her.
Still, I felt the pain. I'm an outsider. How can he
they accept me...
"Well, physically you will stay with me. she
he replied.
"No. You're not running with me. Got it? It's dangerous out there. We don't know who yours is
enemy."
She curled her fingers on mine.
"There is no need to run or leave this place. They have accepted it."
you live here With me, Ekanshi!" she said excitedly.
I was confused.
"Did they accept me?"
"YES-!!"
"Do I live here? With you?"
"YES!"
I lifted her into the air, she squealed in delight.
"That's great Bhairavi," I said as I spun around.
She giggled and I stomped my own foot as I twisted and lost my balance.
We both fell over her bed with a slight thud. We fell next to each other.
I looked to my right, she was smiling intensely at her
as if she won me over.
I leaned closer and stroked her lips.
"Hmm. The door is open.", she replied and snuggled up
my arms
I stroked her shiny soft hair.
"How did they agree for me to live here? How did they agree."
will you convince them?"
"There is nothing to fear. " she answered by scrolling
from bed.
"Are you sure there's nothing to worry about?", me
he asked again.
"Yeah. Trust me," she said with a smile.
My phone beeped. It was my mom.
She texted me, "Where are you? I've been trying to call you since this morning!"
I don't know what to answer because I can't reveal that I am
in Jodhpur Palace. It will complicate everything.
I texted her back, "I'm in Jodhpur for training. I'll call you later."
Bhairavi and I went to the canteen for lunch.
When I arrived, I saw many people wandering around.
Children jump like monkeys.
Hence, Bhairavi blended easily with Punjabi
family in Chandigarh.
"Ekansh? Right?" asked the queen (Bhairavi's mother).
he is sitting next to my chair.
I nodded.
"Do you live in Dehradun?" she asked without looking at me.
"I live in Mumbai," I replied with a hint of a smile.
"Silence! Everyone dine quietly." she
he ordered: The next second everyone was sitting across the table staring at me like I was some kind of alien.
Bhairavi was sitting across from me. She blinked her eyes
calmly.
After lunch, which was quite eerie because of the deathly silence, Bhairavi introduced me to her cousins.
Her cousins and I moved out to play cricket.
While Bhairavi had to meet her other relatives.
Her cousins were very friendly. We had
great fun I was teeing off when I noticed her
white whale printed salwar suit. She looked
gorgeous with light makeup. Her eyes were shining
like moonlight
Unfortunately, I lost the ability to hit the ball and
the ball broke through the goal.
"EKANSH!"
"Yeah, he's out.
I couldn't take my eyes off her. I dropped it
bat and went to her.
"Hey, why didn't you fire?" she asked, stopping in front of me.
"You know why. I replied with a smirk.
She blushed and turned to walk.
"Look at these two.
"Ekansh was stunned to see her. That's why he."
lost it."
They whispered to each other.
"Yeah. Love makes you weak."
I turned to see her mom looking at us.
Bhairavi looks very scared of her mom. She immediately looked down. "Bhairavi, your training starts tomorrow. I hope you're serious this time." her mom ordered her and went in another direction.
Bhairavi quietly left before I could stop her.
Something is terribly wrong here. She must be hiding something from me.
Next morning I woke up around 520. I couldn't sleep properly thinking about Bhairavi.
I freshened up. I put on my workout clothes and started running around the palace.
I don't know why I'm not allowed to leave the palace. Maybe they don't want others (citizens) to know about the guy going in and out of the palace.
As I ran I heard, "How did you become so fragile? You have to do it!"
I turned to see a man in his forties. I walked a little closer because the man was blocking my view. It was Bhairavi. She cried quietly.
Her palm was constantly bleeding.
"Bhairavi, I told you to cut your palm again!", that
the man shouted at her.
She took the knife and used it again to stab the fresh wound on her right palm. It has been cut many times before.
"Bhairavi what are you doing?" I ran towards her.
She backed away before I could touch her.
"It's training at Ekanshi. Go away. I'm fine," she said
without looking me in the eye.
"This is not training. This is torture! Don't you understand?"
"It's training to stop the tears
palm, the less you cry and the stronger you are.
No blow or wound can make you cry in the future
learn this technique." instructed the idiot.
"Don't be ridiculous Bhairavi! You have already lost a lot of blood.", I shouted at her as she stood like an idol.
"Bhairavi, I will cut your hand if you do not follow my instructions. the guy spoke again.
Bhairavi looked into the frightened eyes.
When the guy tried to approach her, I punched him
face on the right side.
"Stay away from her. Don't waste your guts and hurt her." I warned the man.
"'Ekanshi! What have you done?' Bhairavi was amazed.
"Get him out of the palace. the queen ordered.
And out of nowhere the guards came and tied me up
and pulled me out.
What the hell is going on here?
