When David got home Mrs. Peters told him that Diana wanted to see him and that it was urgent. He nodded as he headed upstairs hurriedly. He got to her room and knocked slightly as she replied and opened the door for him to enter.
"Is everything okay? Mum said you had something important you wanted to discuss." David asked immediately he got in.
"Actually, I've decided to resign from my job." Diana stated as Ethan looked at her, rather confused.
"But why? Sterling group is one of the best in the city so why the sudden change of mind?" He asked, he didn't understand what was going on with his sister.
"I just don't like the working environment anymore so I'm leaving for the states soon with the kids" She stated.
"Did you have a fight with your colleague? Look Diana it's normal for people in a working environment to get into petty fights." David tried to explain but it seemed like Diana had made up her mind.
"David don't try to change my mind because it won't happen, I'm leaving for the states after I submit my resignation letter to the sterling group."
"I'm only telling you this because there is no one else I can open up to so please don't tell anyone yet especially mum and Kian, they'll be so upset." Diana sighed.
"Fine, I won't tell anyone about it." He promised.

"Grandma, mum please open the door, I want to go to dad." Little Kian shouted as he banged on the door loudly.
"Kian keep quiet or else you'll wake up everyone." Kiara whispered as she tried to hold his hands instead, he pushed her away.
"Mum already told us that dad is not here with us Kian, so you have to stop this nonsense." She speaks.
"But I saw dad at the party, later today but mum didn't listen to me." Kian said with a sad face.
"Kian, dad is no more with us, mum herself told us that." Kiara defended.
"But I saw him, he looked like dad, I know he is dad, and I am going to reunite them." Kian said, determined.

Aaron walked into the living room with an angry expression as he hesitantly took off his tie as Samira walked in with a glass of water in her hand.
"Baby, you're back home? How was the engagement?" Samira asked placing the tray down, about to hand him the glass when he suddenly grabbed her by the arm as the glass fell from her hand.
"Aaron, you're hurting me." Samira said as she tried to free, herself but instead he tightened his grip.
"Diana? you knew she was back, didn't you?" He asked as Samira shook her head.
"Don't you dare lie to me, why did you keep this a secret from me?" Aaron asked angrily.
"Aaron, believe me I don't know anything about her, I swear on our daughter's life." Samira stated.
"I haven't heard anything about her for the past five years, I thought she had died.'' Samira cried.
"Keep shut!"
