Someone wanting to steal Xu Jing's Treasure Map could have taken her out in the cover of night. Yet they only tangled with her and finally, out of desperation, fired a shot.
Ye Huang couldn't figure it out.
"Young Master Ye, we've looked into it, and it seems to be a third party." Fu Xue reported in a low voice.
Ye Huang frowned, "Third party?"
"Yes, Xu Jing checked as well, and didn't make much headway today," said Fu Xue.
Ye Huang said, "Xu Jing came to see me last night, and I met with the President. If they continue to follow, it would mean crossing the state."
"Young Master Ye, I've already bolstered the security at the Presidential Mansion. Rest assured," Fu Xue immediately said.
"Mm." Ye Huang slowly nodded, "Let's lay low in Songcheng for a few days."
"Yes."
Ye Huang pulled out the Treasure Map and began comparing it with a pile of geography books to pinpoint the exact location of the treasure.
