I didn't get to say anything as I was back to where I had been previously.
It didn't even seem like any time passed with the way that I was standing there with one hand pointed at the statue.
I couldn't help looking closely at the statue once I came back to my senses, but it didn't seem like there was anything that changed with it.
So in the end, I turned to look at the head teacher to say, "Did anything happen?"
The head teacher seemed surprised by this question and slowly shook his head before saying, "No, nothing happened at all. Why are you asking this?"
I didn't answer as I had no idea what he had seen and what he knew.
But it seemed that he hadn't even seen the flash of light that came from the statue earlier that pulled me into that space. It seemed like I was the only one that had seen that flash of light.
I was about to say something else, but there was a sound that interrupted me before I could.
"Crack."
