Though in the first place, it wasn't as if I would answer this question just because the Apostle of Destruction asked this.
Instead, I just focused on making the earth spikes explode.
This time, the earth spikes didn't explode into a wall, but rather into different spikes that pierced into the ground around the Apostle of Destruction.
Once they pierced into the ground, they didn't actually attack the Apostle of Destruction.
What it formed was a kind of cage that surrounded the Apostle of Destruction, releasing an effect that seemed to be suppressing it. This was the divine energy that was inside of the earth spikes that was weakening the destruction energy that the Apostle of Destruction possessed.
But it wasn't as if the Apostle of Destruction didn't try to resist.
