Chapter 114 - What God Mode Rewards Look Like (1)

Point out any errors I made in the chapters, as I'm very lazy and sometimes can't be bothered to reread them. Also, give your opinions on something I should change or add.

Note 1: Sorry for the delay. Chapter is long and has a lot of details that needed research.

Note 2: Might be more errors than usual.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the fog settled and formed a humanoid shape, a breathtaking woman with demonic horns, wings, and tail stood before them, wearing a black gothic skirt. Divine Might radiated from the huge Demon Goddess, forcing creatures to submit and nearly making Feng collapse to the floor.

Dressed the same as Celestina and looking the same as her, the arrogant eyes of the Tier 6 Demon Empress fell on the two individuals before her, a flash of surprise appearing in them.

"The main consciousness?"

The giant Celestina created by the trial gazed at the Tier 4 Celestina hovering in the air, not sparing Feng a glance as she inspected the Demon Empress.

Feng felt glad that the Trial Celestina did not pay him any attention. The less she is mindful of his presence, the better.

Unlike in the first two phases, the Third Phase of the Asura and God Mode World Summit Trial did not create a Trial Creature that was a copy of the challenger, but a remnant of Celestina left behind by the original Demon Empress before she died.

The entire World Summit was a creation of hers that served as both a treasury where she stored some of her things, and as a training ground for her followers, having made the Shrines of various ranks and the Divine Staircase for them to train and grow stronger while earning rewards.

Higher Shrines were meant for stronger followers, especially the Legendary ones, while the Shrine at the very top housed many of Celestina's top treasures that are below Divine Artifact rank and that she could afford to offer as rewards for the followers who challenged the Shrine.

However, the World Summit Trial was the main opportunity on the World Summit, and clearing it was the goal of every one of the Demon Empress's followers.

Though, at the time, her followers could freely challenge the trial and had far fewer restrictions on the things they could do compared to what the creatures who come here now faced. But after Celestina got killed, only the main mechanisms she left behind functioned, while it was lost during the Great Destruction that ensued soon after in the chaos after Seraphina left the Bible of Darkness in the main Shrine for safety.

With no one to take full charge of since the Destruction Goddess only had a limited amount of authority over the World Summit and could not fully control it, the Main God's System took charge of its main operations and prevented powerful individuals from seizing the World Summit; with now many different beings getting the chance to set foot on the World Summit; albeit demonic ones still having the greatest advantage in getting to it since other Demon God's could provide them with chances to travel to the World Summit.

However, due to the immense difficulty of the World Summit Trial, there hasn't been anyone who could clear it.

Apart from the Second Phase's insanely difficult challenge, the Third Phase was on an entirely different level. Hell Mode had no Third Phase and was merely an easy mode of the World Summit Trial for someone to prepare for the higher difficulties, but in Asura Mode, Feng had experienced the Third Phase, being the only player who had made it that far after all the others got curve stomped in the Second Phase.

Even then, while he was at Tier 6, the Trial Creature formed from Celestina's remnant consciousness was extremely powerful, nearly on the level of Primordial Gods. Now in God Mode, the Trial Celestina was still Tier 6, and actually seemed even more powerful to Feng than her Asura Mode version.

Beating it wasn't worth considering in the least. Fighting the Tier 6 Celestina was completely out of the question. Naturally such a feat was not possible, even for Feng, so passing God Mode couldn't be achieved.

Feng never bothered concerning himself with how he'd clear the Third Phase or reserving any strength for it, because there was simply no way for him to even challenge the Trial Celestina. Nothing.

None of his means could do anything to a being of her caliber. She could probably crush him with just her mind. Feng's best attempt would be using the Destroy of Immortality's Immortality Slayer Origin Skill, but there was no need to question whether it would affect her at all or not, since he wouldn't even get the chance to turn the skill on after retrieving the Legacy Weapon.

He'd just die instantaneously.

So, Feng placed all his hopes on the demon maid currently hovering above him, with a grandiose presence radiating from the Demon Empress as she indifferently gazed at her giant duplicate.

Of course, the thought that his Tier 4 Celestina could ever beat the Tier 6 Trial Celestina in a fight never occurred to Feng. But there was a chance here.

"Indeed," Celestina confirmed dismissively and commanded, "You shall give up the portion of my consciousness that I left here and allow me to collect the rewards from clearing the trial."

Despite the version of herself standing before them clearly being many times more powerful, Celestina ordered the Trial Demon Empress like she was superior, showing no interest in arguments or questions as if everything was matter-of-fact.

This was Feng's and Celestina's plan. Their only idea and chance at passing the Third Phase.

Normally, as a Trial Creature created by the World Summit Trial, the Trial Celestina would attack and eliminate any challengers indiscriminately according to her purpose that was left for the trial by the original Celestina before her death.

Since the one in front of her was the main consciousness, though, there was potentially wiggle room for an easy victory; when there'd be zero chance at all under different circumstances.

Being the main consciousness, with the Trial Celestina merely being a small portion of her original mind, Celestina could technically absorb the fragmented consciousness into herself, erasing the Trial Creature so that they could automatically pass the Third Phase and regain a small fraction of her strength as well.

But in Celestina's current condition, it wasn't possible for her to forcibly absorb the fragment of herself if the Trial Celestina resisted during the process. Hence, she needed to make the split consciousness agree and follow along, allowing herself to be absorbed.

There wouldn't be a problem with that since the piece of Celestina's consciousness inside the World Summit Trial should be aware of the original's passing many eons ago and would want to regain her strength, so with the mutual goal of returning to life, she should be willing to let the main consciousness absorb her go recover more power. They were still one entity after all with returning to their original state being the main priority.

And the Trial Creature would most likely, hoping that she'd act logically as they had predicted despite this being God Mode difficulty, go along with Celestina, agreeing to be absorbed without any issues; if not for Feng's presence.

Feng coming along with Celestina to the World Summit Trial would be peculiar from the Trial Celestina's perspective, a mere Tier 1 human being connected to the main consciousness at all being a weird thing. Coupled with the current Celestina being merely a soul, which this Tier 6 Primordial Demon Goddess would definitely be able to sense, in an odd physical form, as well as the eerily perceptive intuition Celestina, and by extension a fragment of her consciousness, has, the Trial Celestina might notice that something was off about this situation.

He was also uncertain whether she was capable of detecting the contract between him and Celestina's soul.

Meanwhile, they were unsure how the Trial Celestina would react if she learned of the main consciousness's current situation, and what she'd do upon discovering that Celestina had signed a contract to be Feng's servant being completely unpredictable.

After all, these two consciousnesses of Celestina were not the same.

The fragment from which the Tier 6 Trial Creature had been formed still had the mind of the arrogant and unbeatable Demon Empress. Pride practically made up her being. The original great ruler of the demon race would rather die than ever take orders from someone else, let alone a mere weak human.

This was very much unlike the current Celestina who had spent several eras sealed inside the Pandemonium Lashbalde, finally regaining some freedom after eons had passed and wanting to learn about what had happened while she was gone, along with the fate of her people, she was more compliant in signing a deal with someone like Feng after realizing that he was far from some ordinary human; gaining some hope of recovering her strength and throne.

That worldview can not be conveyed or understood through using words, though, so Celestina could never explain her current situation being necessary for a greater goal to the Trial Celestina nor allow her to learn of it, knowing better than anyone what kind of reaction she'd have back in her heyday if that version of the Great Demon Empress were to find out some portion of her consciousness was taking orders from such a lesser creature.

Feng would most likely die where he stood.

Naturally Celestina could not let that happen since the Trial Creature might even destroy his soul, killing her along with the contractor. Along with knowing how much she and Feng would benefit from clearing the God Mode World Summit Trial, the two of them had decided to hide the truth from the Trial Celestina, quickly having the main consciousness absorb the fragment and deal with the threat.

At the same time, Feng reduced his presence to nothingness, praying that the Trial Celestina would not pay him any heed after realizing the main consciousness was before her.

Although Feng could have chosen to hide before starting the Third Phase, escaping the Primordial Demon Goddess's detection would normally be impossible to begin with within this space, but the Trial Creatures also seemed to know where Feng as the challenger was at all times.

Him hiding would have only resulted in Feng driving Trial Celestina's attention towards him instead and attracting much more of it than he could afford to.

Thus, the only thing Feng could do was literally stand still without causing any disturbance while attempting to be as insignificant of a presence as possible.

"Why are you in this form? And why didn't you possess this human, even choosing to bring him to these treasured grounds." However, Feng could naturally not escape the Trial Creature's attention, the Tier 6 Celestina coldly questioning her main consciousness with a displeased tone while pinning a stare at the Tier 1 Swordsman.

From that alone it could not be obvious what would happen if she found out about their current relationship; Feng's mere presence having caused such an unsavory reaction from the Trial Celestina.

Even with his vast experience and usual calm attitude, Feng could not help growing mildly anxious in this situation considering that all his hard work and effort could be wiped out in an instant if this went south. The gaze he was receiving from the immensely powerful being towering over him made Feng nearly fall to his knees, unable to move and having trouble breathing as her presence washed over him.

"That's none of your concern. Quit asking useless questions, I don't have time to waste. You'll know once you become part of me anyway." Dismissively responding to the Trial Creature, Celestina showed that she clearly did not take the Tier 6 duplicate seriously nor consider its opinion relevant.

Having said so, Celestina immediately flew up closer to the large Demon Goddess, needing to make physical contact in order to absorb the fragment of her consciousness due to how little of her power she currently had, without giving the opposing Demon Empress a chance to say anything else or showing her any respect whatsoever.

Her behavior actually served to make the Trial Celestina feel more assured, believing that this was just how she would and should act as the main consciousness. At the back of her mind, however, something seemed off about this whole situation.

The Trial Creature's intuition was telling her that things were not as they appeared, Feng's presence causing suspicions to arise in the clone's mind. She could just not shake off the feeling that there was more to it than what this Celestina was letting on.

But as a mere remnant of the original, the Trial Celestina could not disobey Celestina nor did she have a proper reason to without possessing a real or genuine indicator that taking action against the main consciousness or the human was necessary. Regardless, as Celestina had said, all would be revealed in a moment, so the Tier 6 Trial Creature allowed the Tier 4 Demon Empress to reach and begin absorbing her fragment without any resistance.

Just as the process was almost finished, the two consciousnesses fully connected, coinciding with each other and gaining some level of information and knowledge on the other through the merging of minds.

Desire for murder instantly erupted from the Trial Celestina, her vast and tangent killing intent oozing off the Tier 6 Demon Goddess upon the connection forming as she now knew some of the things that had gone on, having realized what was happening with the main consciousness and Feng along with sensing the contract binding them.

Her murderous gaze landed on Feng, practically freezing him in place, but the absorption was too far gone by now, nearly being done and the Trial Creature losing her ability to move or control her body as her consciousness began slipping away.

In a rebellious last-ditch effort of rage and desperation, the Tier 6 Primordial Demon Goddess copy fought back and resisted the absorption's completion, stopping Celestina from fully absorbing her, if only temporarily for as much as she could manage against the weakened main consciousness.

Still unable to move, the Trial Celestina did the only thing she could in this brief chance to make right on the humiliation she had suffered, immediately casting an attack at Feng as she glared at the Tier 1 human.

A large bronze Magic Array appeared in the sky, from which emerged a pitch-black giant skull with horns coming out of its scalp. The demonic skull widened its jaw, causing all Mana within a 10,000-yard radius to vanish as it gathered to the skull in an instant, a dark-bronze orb of magic quickly forming in the skull's mouth in a single moment.

Tier 6 Spell, Dawnwave Demon Cannon!

Before Feng or Celestina could do anything to prevent the spell from activating, the bronze orb turned into a beam that descended towards Feng, who had activated Thought Acceleration upon seeing the Magic Array above him, at light speed.

Helplessness was the main thing either of them could feel, along with disbelief as they watched the incoming attack that was about to pulverize Feng's existence.

Such resolution to kill both of them after finding out that Celestina had merely entered a contract with Feng surpassed their expectations on how hellbent the fragment of Celestina's original consciousness would be; as the most she would have realized from their connection was that they had a contract in which Celestina had to listen to Feng's orders.

She went as far as using a powerful Tier 6 Spell like Dawnwave Demon Cannon, which was an incredibly powerful attack even among Tier 6 Spells. When the TIer 6 Demon Empress uses it with her otherworldly standard and Mana control, the power of Dawnwave Demon Cannon easily reaches far up in the Tier 6 Peak standard.

Simultaneously, her Divine Might and World Creation nearly crushed Feng by themselves, preventing him from using any teleportation skills, even fully Silencing him.

Nothing Feng possessed could withstand an attack of that caliber, possibly only Halo Shield having the capability to protect him from Trial Celestina's attack. But not only was Revres Volu on Celestina's person right now, and she didn't have the time to activate it from this distance while still in the process of absorbing the clone's consciousness, Halo Shield was currently on cooldown after they had used it to survive the bombardment of multiple million Drago Busters.

Meaning that he was fucked, with no abilities to save him this time since he could neither avoid nor defend in the face of such an attack.

Most would despair when faced with this situation, losing all hope. Feng, however, instead felt pissed at the duplicate of Celestina who would go that far just to spite them while getting absorbed by her own main consciousness; all her resentment towards him stemming from utter arrogance.

In fact...

'This bitc-'

...he was furious, a red paint washing over Feng's eyes.

BOOOM!

A deafening and wind-breaking boom resounded across the entire boundless trial space when the beam from Dawnwave Demon Cannon landed, causing an enormous shockwave to spread out in all directions from the small cloud of dust that had risen.

Celestina paused and stared with widened eyes at the dust, at first not believing their plan had been foiled in the last moment by the vengeful fragmented consciousness, while the Trial Creature just had a look of disdain on her casual expression.

Before even a moment passed, though, both of their gazes changed, turning incomparably shocked. Celestina was dumbfounded because she was not getting forced back into the Spectral Animacell and disappearing, which could only mean one thing, whereas the Tier 6 Demon Empress was gobsmacked since she could sense everything that was happening around them.

The small cloud of dust quickly faded out under Trial Celestina's pressure, revealing a giant pitch-black, devilish claw-like hand that was covering the ground where Feng had stood, with the horrific back of that hand facing the two Celestinas.

Its wrist looped around behind the palm, the arm connected to the hand extending out of a huge shadow that had suddenly appeared on the ground. As the hand seemed to twitch with its sharp fingers moving around, the Primordial Demon Goddess saw a pair of blood-red eyes staring up at her through the gap between the fingers.

There was a deep rage carried within those human-shaped eyes that was very unsettling.

At the same time, inside the gigantic shadow spread out across the ground, Trial Celestina witnessed a pair of giant, completely red eyes the size of her head open, gazing at her as well. These eyes didn't look like a human's in the least, resembling more a demon's or devil's eyes with their sheer redness and thin pupils.

Despite them merely being two-dimensional and on a shadow, a faint sense of fear assaulted the prideful Demon Empress's mind, causing her to pause in confusion.

Her momentary lapse in concentration instantly brought the resistance she was making against the absorption to a stop, allowing Celestina to finish the process and completely absorb the Trial Creature's remnant consciousness.

With her last few seconds of being conscious, the Tier 6 Celestina gazed down at the devil claw which was turning into black particles at a rapid rate, revealing Feng behind it as he returned the stare.

There was no more disgust or disdain in the Demon Empress replica's eyes as they made eye contact. Recalling the giant pair of red eyes that had closed and disappeared in the shadow as it shrank down back to Feng's shape, a serious look appeared on Trial Celestina's face, wishing to say something more.

However, that was no longer possible, so, as she began fading out and turning into black fog upon her consciousness and life disappearing from the Trial Creature's body, the remnant left a last mental message for the main consciousness.

"Be careful. He is not at all what he seems."

Breaking apart into a cloud of pitch-black mist after leaving the comment, Trial Celestina disappeared, with only the real deal remaining as she floated in the sky where the Tier 6 Demon Goddess's head had just been.

"I know." Celestina could only quietly mumble as a response. Shaking her head a moment later, the calm indifference returned to the Demon Empress's demeanor.

On the ground, Feng's face had turned deathly pale, all of his Concentration having been expended. He nearly fell over as his vision began to blur, showing signs that he had overexerted his Concentration and reached his mental limit, an emergency notification from the system ringing out in his ears.

Knowing that he was about to die without any items or abilities to survive the Tier 6 Spell cast by the Trial Celestina, Feng, in his pissed-off state, decided to bank it all on his rising anger and manifest his Killing Intent Materialization.

Only, the Concentration consumption far exceeded what he could manage. Despite having switched to the Advanced Tyrant Title before the attack landed and creating only a portion of his Killing Intent Materialization to defend against the attack, merely summoning a fully materialized hand that covered his body from the beam, Feng nearly lost consciousness instantly.

The price of using Killing Intent Materialization without full, unbridled rage was too difficult even for someone like Feng, which was why he had never attempted to use it, one of the most powerful abilities in his entire arsenal, before for a fight ever since he reincarnated.

He couldn't have even used it before downloading the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline and upgrading it, Feng's Concentration having been too weak to use such an intense and costly thing, while in none of the fights afterwards could he utilize it effectively.

Against the Tier 5 Trial Creature, the materialization's short duration would not have allowed Feng to achieve anything, and would leave him completely drained of energy, turning himself into an easy kill. In the Second Phase, the situation was similar, up against too many or too powerful opponents for it to matter if he used the Killing Intent Materilization to kill or attack any of them.

Bringing forth a Killing Intent Materialization wasn't worth considering in most situations, so it wasn't much of a trump card due to Feng's current limitations, only being usable when he literally had no other option to attack or defend with like just now as the spell cast by the Tier 6 Demon Empress had been too powerful for him to survive using anything else.

Of course, as taxing and costly as it is, a Killing Intent Materialization is unquestionably powerful. It is a direct manifestation of a person's will and killing intent into a physical form, being as powerful as the materializer's own internal capability for murderous intentions.

Theoretically speaking, so long as a person's killing intent and will are powerful enough, nothing in God's Domain would be capable of breaking or resisting their Killing Intent Materialization. Even Half-step Rules would be useless against a powerful enough one.

However, getting one's Killing Intent Materialization to that standard was all but impossible, and none in the entire history of God's Domain had done it. Even Feng's Killing Intent Materialization, which was among the strongest to ever appear in history, had not come close to such a standard.

Still, any random Killing Intent Materialization would be invincible in front of most attacks that merely had raw power, no matter how much of it; under the condition that the user's will is not weak. Only something containing Laws or powers at that standard could affect the materializations of a person's killing intent.

Feng's naturally shared the same trait regardless of how little of his Killing Intent Materialization he could create right now, so the Trial Creature's spell was wholly blocked without doing any damage to Feng.

But the price to pay for summoning it was evident, having taken a huge toll on Feng's Concentration, and leaving him falling into Sleep Mode under the Main God's System's management.

Before he could be forcibly logged out for going past his mental limit, though, a red crystal orb was shoved into Feng's mouth, the crystal turning into a blood-red liquid that filled Feng with energy upon swallowing it. His Concentration rapidly recovered, reaching a level where he could stay conscious and remain logged in.

"Thanks." Feng said in appreciation to Celestina, who made a hmph sound after having fed him a Life Crystal, which he had given to the demon girl as a precaution in case absorbing the piece of consciousness was more difficult than expected. It was also their last Life Crystal, the two of them having consumed all of the nearly twenty crystals during the fights of the God Mode World Summit Trial.

Sitting down, Feng could feel his mind slowly recovering from the astronomical expenditure of a Killing Intent Materialization, his complexion also regaining color under the Life Crystal's effects. As he was resting, system notifications sounded in Feng's mind.

System: Third Phase completed. World Summit Trial has been cleared. [1]

System: Congratulations! You have successfully cleared the God Mode World Summit Trial! Rewarding 1,000 Free Mastery Points, 300 Legacy Skill Points, twenty Level increases, Authority on the World Summit increased to Vice Administrator, and treasures designated as rewards by Demon Empress Celestina.

As the system's voice echoed out in Feng's ears, several spaced-out dark purple pedestals appeared before him, with something covered by a dark fog on each of the pedestals.

Moments later, the darkness obscuring Feng's view of his rewards faded, revealing a variety of objects placed upon the purple pedestals; some hovering above them.

There were a total of eleven pedestals; individually supporting a suit of armor, a bright red belt, leg guards made up of blue fabric, a pair of boots that were akin to small black holes, a silvery ring, a golden ball the size of a man's fist, some kind of small basket, a large black and purple chest from whose sides horns were protruding, a vial filled up with something that was neither liquid nor gas, a miniature dark purple throne the size of one's finger, and a pitch-black horn.

Each of the items exuded a stupendous amount of pressure and Divine Might that would normally cause a ruckus if it appeared anywhere else, every other one seeming more powerful than the last as Feng revealed and read through their information one by one.

As Feng inspected them, he grew more and more surprised with each item, gradually turning shocked upon appraising all the immeasurably precious treasures that had appeared before him.

The first reward was a mismatched suit of armor that didn't seem like it was meant for any class as it was made up of all three types of armor; having a small circular purple Tiara with several pairs of horns sticking out from the sides symmetrically, a Cloth Armor elegant pure-black satin dress with a metal breastplate over it, and a short skirt woven below a Leather Belt, Cloth Armor Shoulder Guards that extended down to the elbows, Plate Armor Bracers following up to the wrists from which a pair of Leather Gloves with finger holes at the end covered the hands, whereas Plate Armor Leg Guards extended below the short skirt down to the Boots that were made up of both leather and metal.

Overall, it was a balanced set that integrated all the armor types while still managing to look like an elegant and awe-inspiring matching set.

Feng easily recognized the Set Equipment without needing to use an Identification Skill, knowing it was the Absolute Demon Set, Celestina's eight-piece Divine Artifact Unique Set Equipment.

He had seen the Demon Empress wear it during his previous life on many occasions, being her own custom Equipment Set that she used for battle. From what Feng knew, it was unfathomably powerful and ranked within the top three of the Universal God's Domain's Ten Great Divine Equipments Sets.

Due to her unique situation and class, Celestina, along with a few other of the former Demon Emperors and Empresses, could equip any type of armor and equipment, as well as had the capability to wield any type of weapon she chooses.

Though, she wasn't like how the Weapon Saint could wield all of them proficiently and effortlessly switch between them, simply having the option to pick what she wanted to wield depending on what the Demon Empress liked the most, and more importantly, what suited and was most compatible with her.

Meanwhile, throughout her life, Celestina had mostly wielded weapons similar to the Pandemonium Lashblade, and after becoming the Demon Empress and one of the strongest beings in the Universal God's Domain, her main weapon style was either two-handedly wielding the Divine Artifact ranked Pandemonium Lashblade when its length is extended to thousands of yards or duel wielding the Demon Sword in its regular state alongside Totality's Deception, a Divine Artifact Whip.

Coupled with the Divine Artifact Absolute Demon Set Equipment, Celestina had been a near invincible existence; so anyone in possession of her armor would obtain an untold level of power.

Of course, this naturally wasn't the Divine Artifact Set that Celestina had worn, it having been mostly destroyed or lost in her final battle for her life after getting betrayed and ambushed along with having to fight the God Slayer, but a Legendary ranked Replica.

[Absolute Demon Set Equipment (Replica)] (Unique Set Equipment, Legendary Rank)

Can only be equipped by the Ruler of the Demon Race or a person possessing a Demon Race Ruler's Legacy.

Set consists of eight parts: head, shoulders, chest, belt, hands, wrists, legs, and feet.

Even though he had used the Eyes of Truth, limited information was presented to Feng, only getting some basic details about the entire Set Equipment instead of the individual pieces, unable to even see its Equipment Requirements or Set Effects.

However, the Divine Might radiating from the Absolute Demon Set and the armor's pressure that affected the environment around it made the Legendary Set's power obvious. Each individual piece gave off more pressure than most of the Legendary items Feng had seen throughout his career, and even his God's Domain's Nine Great Legendary Equipment Sets would pale in comparison to this Absolute Demon Replica.

Regardless, it wasn't like he could equip it anyway, not only because some of it isn't Plate Armor, but also because the Equipment Set has a restriction on who could use it. Looking at the condition for equipping it, though, Feng wondered if Celestina could equip this Absolute Demon Set.

Although he had seen her wear a Divine Artifact ranked version, that was after she had regained her physical body and strength as well as repaired the original Equipment Set. Right now, he wasn't sure if Celestina still counted as the Demon Empress, or more precisely if she was acknowledged as the ruler of the Demon race, in her soul form and stripped of her status.

Whether dying had caused her to fully lose her position since no other ruler of the Demon race had been crowned ever since she disappeared, Feng didn't know, and Celestina seemed to be pondering the same thing as she stood to the side and gazed at the suit of armor.

"Try equipping it." Seeing that she was apprehensive and in deep thought while staring at the Legendary Absolute Demon Set, Feng told the demon maid, who still remained in her usual outfit. He hoped to see her equip the Set, as the boost to Celestina's strength would be unimaginable if she could wear the eight-piece Unique Legendary Set Equipment.

Responding with a small nod, the Demon Goddess walked up to the first pedestal on which the suit of armor stood, placing a hand on the breastplate. The moment she made contact, the Absolute Demon Set left the pedestal and appeared on her body, Celestina becoming dressed with a powerful and mighty armor set that seemed to suit her perfectly.

Celestina's aura skyrocketed instantaneously, reaching a level nearing what she had displayed after using Bestowal of Darkness to get promoted to Tier 5.

"This feeling..." Looking down at her arms, the demon girl sensed her increased strength and was dazzled.

Although it was still not comparable to when she actually reached Tier 5 through Moloch's Ring, only her attributes, Physique, Defense, and Mana having exponentially increased to near that standard while she still lacked the skills and an enhanced Tier 5 Mana Body, this improvement was still incredible.

Moreover, she had gained nearly two dozen powerful Passive and Active Skills as an addition at her disposal from the eight Legendary pieces of equipment, even if they were somewhat of a similar nature.

Feng was glad over it as well, the Demon Empress being able to get so much stronger by equipping the armor being a great help for his future endeavors.

The only complication is that as her current physical body that was wearing the equipment was only a manifestation of Celestina's soul, she couldn't bring the items along with her when Feng recalls her into the Spectral Animacell, so he'll have to carry the Absolute Demon Set around at all times and have the Demon Empress requip it every time he summons her for a fight.

However, that was a minor inconvenience compared to the boost in power they received when Celestina gets outfitted in the Legendary Set.

When the Demon Goddess was done admiring her new strength and look, Feng asked her to show him the Equipment Set's information through their connection, allowing him to finally see each of the Absolute Demon pieces' stats.

The Equipment Requirements were fairly high for Legendary items while also requiring the user to be Tier 3 and possess a very pure demonic Bloodline, but their other information was stupefying.

His shock was unprecedented, the Legendary ranked Absolute Demon Set being far more powerful than what Feng had imagined. Their attributes were comparable to Fragmented Divine Artifacts, and the effects gained from wearing them, Additional Skills, and Set Effects were also superb.

This Absolute Demon Set wasn't much inferior to a Fragmented Divine Artifact Set, only lacking a bit in pure power and having no Laws boosting its power, simply possessing a very pure Power of Darkness.

Wearing this Equipment Set and wielding the Fragmented Legendary Pandemonium Lashblade, which was also the only weapon Celestina was able to wield in her current state thanks to the connection between the Demon Empress and the Demon Sword, Celestina was an entirely different force to be reckoned with.

After recovering from his shock, Feng turned his attention to the other items placed on the pedestals, causing him to grow further dumbstruck.

On the next three pedestals was a Fragmented Divine Artifact piece of equipment each, and similarly, they were all part of an Equipment Set, the five-piece Fragmented Divine Artifact ranked Limitless Set Equipment.

[Limitless Set Equipment] (Fragmented Divine Artifact Rank) [2]

The Limitless Boots were worn by the Master of Infinity and had kept him undefeated in many situations. He was killed by Demon Empress Celestina using a slash that cut reality, damaging the Limitless Boots in the process and causing their power to drastically decrease, but they still possess the absolute power of ultimate gravity. One must pass the Heavy Star Celestial Trial of the Limitless Boots before being able to wear them and gain their power of Gravity. In order to recover their power, the Limitless Boots need to absorb four World Cores and one Super Nova Source. Current restoration (0/5).

Compared to the three pieces belonging to the Limitless Set, the previous Legendary Absolute Demon Set looked like a joke. It was an incredibly powerful Equipment Set with each of the parts sporting different abilities.

Unlike most Fragmented Divine Artifact and Divine Artifact Sets, which were usually comprised of similar items possessing abilities of the same nature and the items having control over the same Law, each of the Limitless Set's pieces wielded a different Law; with the Limitless Belt using the Unranked Law of Repulsion, the Limitless Braccae using the Unranked Law of Convergence, and the Limitless Boots using the Intermediate Law of Gravity.

And each one had their Law at a high degree of Mastery even at Fragmented Divine Artifact rank, boasting incredible power. They were also of no designated type of armor and could be equipped by players of any class, which is not uncommon for items that were set rewards left behind by some being in trials or other challenges that had no class requirements for taking on since anyone could clear them, so the rewards need to be usable by everyone.

This was also a trait shared by a significant portion of Fragment Divine Artifact and Divine Artifact ranked Equipment Sets, with people of any class being able to equip them. Although this made it so that the Sets had no main attributes and were more generalized with the attributes and boost to power they provided being suitable for any class, it also limited their power and potential, making Sets that had armor of a specific type for designated classes more powerful in their fields.

The Equipment Set that Feng had received, the Limitless Set, fell into the classless category, though it was still more suitable for melee classes. Regardless of that and only being a five-piece Set Equipment, it was still incredibly powerful.

Feng wasn't unfamiliar with the Limitless Set as he had received the Limitless Belt in the previous timeline after clearing Asura Mode, whereas the player who managed to clear Hell Model before him had obtained the Limitless Braccae. It had been of great help to Feng when he continued his adventures in the Greater God's Domain, increasing his strength exponentially and even saving his life.

Later when he killed the person who had beaten the Hell Mode World Summit Trial during a conflict, Feng acquired the Limitless Braccae as well, and along with getting his hands on the Limitless Mask, he had three pieces equipped, activating the three-piece Set Effect; which increased his power to an entirely different level.

Unfortunately, as the Limitless Tabard slipped past him while he never managed to find the Limitless Boots, Feng couldn't complete the Limitless Set, using only three pieces and eventually having to replace them with Divine Artifact ranked equipment after failing to repair the parts due to their high requirements.

Now, however, the opportunity had once again presented itself before Feng, immediately gaining both the Limitless Braccae and the Limitless Belt as well as finally getting his hands on the Limitless Boots, Feng would be able to bring together all five pieces since the remaining two parts of the Limitless Set, the Limitless Tabard and the Limitless Mask, were both on the World Summit among the Legendary Shrines; so Feng just had to have some of his more powerful guild members acquire them from their Shrines.

In the future, he might even be able to have all the pieces recover their full power and upgrade them into Divine Artifacts, achieving the full power of the Limitless Set. He'd get to see how strong the Divine Artifact Set the Infinity Master had become nearly invincible with truly was; as well as judge how it measured up against some of the Universal God's Domain's top Divine Artifact Sets.

After all, the Limitless Set was very famous and spoken about in the grand libraries, but Feng didn't know much about how strong the Master of Infinity had actually been since he, although had been a near-invincible existence that was a legend in the Universal God's Domain's history, died a long time ago, having roamed God's Domain during Celestina's era long before the Great Destruction.

Though, from what Feng had learned through the mentions of ancient beings like the Demon Empress and read about in the Universal God's Domain's grand libraries, the Infinity Master had been incredibly strong, especially when wielding his Divine Artifact Weapon, the Infinity Gauntlet; which supposedly commanded over a Peak Law.

Naturally, Feng was curious about the Equipment Set of such a being and how strong he'd become after equipping the three Fragmented Divine Artifacts. At the moment, though, none of that mattered, as he couldn't equip any of them.

The Limitless Belt and Limitless Braccae have a Tier 4 requirement, so Feng won't be able to use either for a long time until he promotes his tier, whereas the Limitless Boots may not have a Tier Requirement, but the condition for equipping them was not something Feng could handle at the moment.

Even without knowing what exactly the Heavy Star Celestial Trial is, Feng could tell that he wouldn't be able to pass it with his current strength going by the description of the trial and the immense power contained within the Limitless Boots.

The boots gave off a level of pressure that would make it hard for even Tier 5 beings to normally approach it, while the Divine Might coming from the shoes that resembled two miniature black holes, and the astronomical gravitational force surrounding the Limitless Boots, made their presence practically create a phenomenon.

Feng could barely even pick up the pair of boots off their pedestal due to the insurmountable power of gravity within them, only managing to not get crushed to death by the incredible force thanks to the Space Helmet's Spatial Liberation.

Needing to pass some trial, challenge, or fulfill other special conditions in order to use an item or control its full power was sometimes an extra requirement for high-ranking items, especially Divine Artifacts, though even some Fragmented Legendary items may possess such additional conditions. They were usually incredibly difficult, being more challenging the stronger the item was, and reflected the nature of their item.

The Heavy Star Celestial Trial would undoubtedly be even more terrifying than what Feng was currently experiencing and have something to do with gravity on a level that greatly surpasses the effects the Limitless Boots were having on the environment just by existing. Hence, even with Spatial Liberation, Feng would only be asking for death by trying to equip the Limitless Boots and challenging whatever the Heavy Star Celestial Trial was.

At the end of the day, the Space Helmet was only a Fragmented Legendary item, so its power paled in comparison to the Fragmented Divine Artifact ranked piece of equipment that commands an Intermediate Law. Its Passive Skill would not have much effect on such a thing with the Helmet's current power, while Feng didn't know what was required to repair it; and even if it did, the result would remain the same.

Thus, Feng could only set it aside for now and hope he'll become strong enough to equip the Limitless Boots before his Tier 2 Promotion Quest.

He then stored the three Equipment Set pieces in his bag and moved on to the other rewards propped up on the remaining pedestals.

Next was a silver ring with small pure-white feathers decorating it, giving the ring a sacred look.

When there are three hundred Flowing Feathers in existence at the same time, a Sky-Rendering Falcon can be summoned, being up to a maximum of 20 Levels higher than the user.

Duration: 15 minutes

Cooldown: 24 hours

Falcon's Grace is the only remaining artifact of the Sky-Rendering Falcons, created using the Sky-Abolishing Falcon King's Heart and feathers.

Holding the Fragmented Divine Artifact Ring in his hands, Feng wasn't surprised by the presence of Falcon's Grace among the rewards, having previously received it after clearing Asura Mode in the previous timeline as well.

It was a fairly powerful item, and although it only had one active ability, Rendering The Sky was an insane skill since aside from being able to summon an unlimited amount of feathers that possess immense strength and speed, as long as one can create three hundred feathers within thirty seconds, one could summon a powerful Tier 6 fighter twenty Level higher than them.

And best of all, there was no limit to how many Sky-Rendering Falcons one could summon during Rendering The Sky's duration, with them all fighting until the Profound Inheritance ends.

Though, only someone with astronomical Attack Speed could accomplish that and bring out Falcon's Grace's full potential, which Feng had done at one point in his previous timeline; having managed to summon one hundred Tier 6 Level 245 Sky-Rendering Falcons when he had been a Level 225 Sword God in a massive war with plenty of enemies to make aerial attacks on using his Sword's Orbit.

Unfortunately, after that spectacle, his opponents had wisened up and learned to limit his opportunities for summoning Flowing Feathers, as well as continuously destroy any of the summoned feathers whenever Feng managed to create them.

Hence he never managed to repeat the amazing feat again.

Getting back Falcon's Grace in his hands, Feng was excited to be able to use it again and immediately equipped the Fragmented Divine Artifact; replacing one of his Epic Rings with it.

Unlike equipment and weapons, accessories such as Rings rarely had Tier Requirements players needed to meet, even at Divine Artifact rank, so even though he was only Tier 1, Feng could still equip Falcnon's Grace so long as he could fulfill the Fragmented Divine Artifact's Equipment Requirements.

Having 15,000 points in Strength and 25,000 points in Agility might be difficult for other Tier 1 players, but Feng's attributes had long since reached those numbers. Thus he had no trouble equipping Falcon's Grace, instantly receiving a massive boost to his strength.

Of course, regardless of having the capability to equip the Ring, being a Tier 1 creature, Feng was entirely incapable of utilizing the full power of a Fragmented Divine Artifact; its power to manipulate the Basic Law of Wind at Basic Mastery not being something Feng could control.

He'd have to be Tier 5 at the very least to minimally use Falcon's Grace's true power, much less wield the Ring at its full potential.

Still, Feng's combat power had risen by a significant amount thanks to the boosts to his attributes, Physique, and the other effects and abilities gained from the Fragmented Divine Artifact.

Feng then switched his gaze to the next pedestal, which had a bright yellow ball on it that resembled a miniature sun with a less intense glow. This thing had the most powerful aura of the rewards up till now, making Feng curious.

The moment he touched the ball, a scorching heat coursed through Feng's hands, nearly making him drop it. If not for having a huge amount of Fire Resistance, he would have definitely received damage from holding the ball.

Using the Eyes of Truth, Feng was a bit taken aback by the information.

[Early Morning Halo] (Weapon, Fragmented Divine Artifact Rank)

A single line appeared on the System Panel when he inspected the golden ball, revealing the item's name, rank, and what it was. However, it being a weapon classified as just Weapon didn't make much sense, since even if the item was some kind of non-conventional weapon, the type would still be stated.

Feng had never seen a weapon just be Weapon before with no type, or even requirement or other information.

Just as he was pondering over it and planned to ask Celestina about the item she had placed as a reward, the ball shook within his hand and trembled, suddenly changing shape as it turned into a golden one-handed sword within a split second; the yellow hilt having taken shape within Feng's grasp before the golden blade extended out without the item changing weight despite shapeshifting.

Holding the now Fragmented Divine Artifact Sword, Feng once again checked its System Panel.

Additional Profound Inheritance 2: Daybreak

For as long as the sun is in the sky, the user will not die. Effects last until no more sunlight reaches the user.

Cooldown: 15 days

A manifestation formed from the Everlasting Sun's core. Early Morning Halo has been severely damaged during the Endless Night War, but it is possible to fully repair it by allowing Early Morning Halo to absorb ten Sun Cores and obtain the Shiny Purification Blessing. Current restoration (0/11).

Looking through the transformed weapon's information, Feng was stupefied by Early Morning Halo. The ability for weapons to transform according to the user's will was a very rare one and few weapons could use it.

Of the weapons Feng knew about in the human's Greater God's Domain, only a Divine Artifact called Formless Twilight had a somewhat similar ability, but was limited to swords and by the user's own ability.

Meanwhile, Early Morning Halo could fully shapeshift into whatever weapon the wielder wanted, seemingly having no limitation, so anyone, regardless of their class, could use it.

However, the more surprising discovery was how strong the Fragmented Divine Artifact Weapon is when transformed into a One-handed Sword suitable for Feng, both its attributes, effects, and skills being top-tier among Fragmented Divine Artifact Swords.

Both its Profound Inheritances were exceptionally powerful among items of the same rank. Daybreak, in particular, was an overpowered ability that basically made one effectively immortal during the day.

Of course, it had limitations, as if the wielder was somewhere with no sunlight, like the void or many dark-type maps or Otherworlds, the skill would be useless.

And naturally, as there was nothing absolute in God's Domain, it would still be possible for someone to kill the wielder as long they attack with a level of power that Daybreak's effects would be canceled out; like a powerful Law at a level of Mastery surpassing Early Morning Halo's.

Though, that would be difficult, as despite being only a Fragmented Divine Artifact, Early Morning Halo, from Feng's estimations and Celestina's confirmation, can manipulate the Law of Light at the Intermediate Mastery standard.

Still, although such a standard would make one invincible among the weaker realms of strength in God's Domain, an Ancient God with Full Mastery over a Law or any random Primordial God would be able to kill Early Morning Halo's wielder even with Daybreak active; albeit it would be a bit difficult and take some effort.

Moreover, if one was more powerful than the wielder, it would still be manageable since Daybreak only prevented the wielder from dying, not from incurring damage or injuries, so anyone strong enough could simply render the shapeshifting sword's wielder in a state near death and wait out the day or force them into a place without sunlight.

But that was under the assumption Early Morning Halo's wielder didn't have ways of fighting back or couldn't defeat the individual through their temporary immortality even with a strength difference. Furthermore, that was while the Weapon was only a Fragmented Divine Artifact.

If someone could upgrade Early Morning Halo into a Divine Artifact, its power would skyrocket, and the level of Mastery it could perform over the Light Law would increase to at least the Advanced Mastery standard, possibly even Peak Mastery.

At that point, for as long as the wielder was within range of sunlight, they'd be practically invincible.

Feng was immediately set on repairing the Fragmented Divine Artifact after seeing its information, knowing just how valuable of a weapon it was. A Divine Artifact that could be used by anybody and allows the user to change their attacking method at any time, while also sporting such unfathomably overpowered abilities, was a priceless treasure.

Even many Divine Artifact ranked weapons that had control over an Advanced Law would not be as valuable as Early Morning Halo, in spite of it only having an Intermediate Law.

Hence, even if he couldn't wield it for a while due to its Tier Requirement, which would definitely rise once it was upgraded into a Divine Artifact, Feng definitely wished to restore its full power since even if he doesn't use it himself, Zero Wing could gain another powerhouse through Early Morning Halo.

Only, its repair conditions were very costly. Sun Cores were even rarer than World Cores, with each being multiple times more valuable as well. Even getting his hands on one would be a massive task, much less ten of them.

Worse yet, Feng had no idea what the Shiny Purification Blessing was, never having heard of it before.

He left that for another time though and focused on the immediate help and benefits obtainable from Early Morning Halo, which was the upcoming fight against a Tier 6 God for his Tier 2 Promotion Quest.

At the moment, neither he nor any of his helpers were Tier 5, none of them meeting its Tier Requirement. Celestina and Lancelot could theoretically equip it if they used Bestowal of Darkness to get their tier increased, but that would only last for one minute, after which the Fragmented Divine Artifact would be forcibly unequipped and all its skills automatically deactivated.

What's more, the Demon Empress was very ill-suited for a weapon that used the Law of Light and currently couldn't wield anything except the Pandemonium Lashblade, while if Lancelot was to become Tier 5, either through Moloch's Ring or normally completing the Tier Promotion, Feng would rather give the Awakened his Luminous Starlight instead since Lancelot could potentially have the attributes to equip it at Tier 5.

Thus, his best bet would be to bring up another Tier 5 being that was capable of using weapons by that time. Setting that aside to consider out later, Feng stored Early Morning Halo in his bag, the yellow sword returning to its former spherical shape, and turned his attention to the less-assuming item of the bunch, a simple-looking white basket with some casual decorations and a red bowtie on it.
