The Knight of the Sinful God possessed two divine artifacts of Cain.
The first was armor capable of manipulating foreign erosion—allowing him to freely wield the power of another world to nullify all supernatural abilities. Only purely physical attacks could bypass this aurora and reach the knight himself.
The second artifact was a weapon that could steal the "information" of matter—granting it life and reshaping it into monstrous beasts or mechanical puppets that inherited the original's properties.
For example, the Wyverns they commanded were modified from attack helicopters, retaining their firepower, armor, and flight capabilities while gaining the autonomy of living creatures—making them far more formidable than ordinary Wyverns.
Similarly, their mechanical puppets were reforged from armored vehicles, inheriting their durability and firepower—capable of briefly withstanding even a vampire's Beast Vassal.
These were the divine artifacts of Cain—power brought from another world, possibly even forged by the God of Sin himself. Vatler calling them "divine authority" was no exaggeration.
The Spear Knight had originally been nothing more than an ordinary human—devoid of spiritual power or supernatural abilities, possessing only combat skills. Yet with these two artifacts, he gained extraordinary might, enough to hold his own against even Vatler and Iblisveil.
And now, in a desperate counterattack, the Spear Knight pointed his lance at his own chest.
"SCHLICK—!"
With a sickening tear, the lance's tip pierced his heart without hesitation.
"Wha—!?"
Yukina and Yuiri gasped in horror.
"Hmm?"
Even Vatler and Iblisveil stiffened momentarily.
Only Rozen, who had been observing silently, understood the knight's intent.
"I see. He's feeding one artifact to the other."
Indeed.
The Spear Knight was using his lance to steal the "information" of his armor—absorbing the power of foreign erosion.
The lance impaling his chest drew no blood, elicited no scream of pain—only caused his silver-black armor to dissolve into motes of light, swallowed by the weapon.
As the lance consumed the armor, its form began to mutate.
The two divine artifacts merged completely, even absorbing the Spear Knight's body—transforming into a swirling mass of black auroras that spread outward.
Gradually, the aurora engulfed every fallen member of The Cleansers, assimilating them and their replica artifacts.
The Spear Knight wasn't just sacrificing himself and his artifacts—he was offering his entire faction as fuel.
"ROOOOOAR—!"
Witnessing this, the gravely wounded dragon in the marsh let out a furious bellow—forcing itself upright as if sensing imminent danger.
"W-Watch out—!"
Yuiri, seeing the dragon's sudden movement, instinctively stepped in its path—as if trying to stop it from acting recklessly.
The dragon froze in surprise at the girl standing before it.
This momentary pause was all the Spear Knight needed.
"GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHH—!"
A monstrous howl echoed as the aurora coalesced into a colossal entity.
A thirty-meter-long abomination—part snapping turtle, part serpent, its armored shell resembling a knight's plate, its visage akin to the mythical beast Black Tortoise—now loomed before them.
"Perish, filthy Demons—and you humans who have fallen to their corruption!"
The Spear Knight's voice roared from within the monster as black auroras radiated outward, eroding all magic in the vicinity.
This creature—forged from the combined might of The Cleansers—was a force that even Vatler and Iblisveil found overwhelming.
Yet instead of fear, the two vampires grinned with exhilaration.
"Splendid! Truly splendid! Now this is worth my time!"
Vatler abandoned all restraint, laughing wildly as he unleashed his full power—summoning his Beast Vassals.
A flame-wreathed serpent and a spike-covered steel viper erupted from his shadow, intertwining midair—fusing into a two-headed dragon wreathed in hellfire, its scales gleaming like burnished metal.
This was Vatler's signature technique—the fusion of Beast Vassals that had allowed him to devour two Third Generation elders and ascend to the cusp of Primogenitor-level power.
"Entertain me well, Knight of the Sinful God!"
Iblisveil, too, shouted with unrestrained glee, summoning his own Beast Vassals:
The golden jackal that moved like lightning.
The golden falcon that commanded storms.
The brutal giant ape of overwhelming strength.
The venomous king cobra shrouded in toxic mist.
Even Tobias and Kira joined the assault, their summoned beasts charging the abomination.
The resulting explosions, shockwaves, and howls shook the entire mountain.
"Kyaa—!"
Yukina screamed as the ground quaked violently.
"Waaah—!"
Yuiri, too, shrieked as fissures split the earth beneath them—both girls losing their footing, tumbling toward the crumbling abyss.
"ROAR—!"
The blood-drenched marsh dragon bellowed, beating its wings to take flight—plowing through falling debris as it dove into the fissure, attempting to rescue them.
But before it could reach them, a figure emerged from a ripple in space—catching both Yukina and Yuiri mid-fall before soaring upward.
Rozen, of course.
"This time, the destruction isn't my fault—blame those vampire royalty and nobles."
He even had the nerve to joke.
"Senpai!"
Yukina glared indignantly.
"—!"
Yuiri, meanwhile, flushed crimson.
"Roar!"
The white dragon, seeing this, swiftly positioned itself beneath them—letting Rozen and the girls land safely on its back as it ascended.
The act left both Yukina and Yuiri stunned—even Rozen seemed mildly surprised.
"Seems this dragon doesn't view us as enemies."
Perhaps it recognized that Rozen's group had saved it, and now sought to repay the debt.
With a mighty beat of its wings, the dragon carried them skyward—just as the entire mountain collapsed behind them in a cataclysmic roar.
