Joshua Sulliven was stunned. He saw her sleeping so peacefully, he didn't expect she would still notice.
"Joshua Sulliven, I feel like I'm a burden, and I really don't like this feeling."
Joshua Sulliven furrowed his brows, seemingly never considering that Keira Leaf would have such thoughts. Before he could speak, Keira Leaf continued, "I am a burden, not only accomplishing nothing myself but also always dragging you down, holding you back. Am I really that useless?"
Joshua Sulliven cupped her small face and gently pecked her pink lips. Instead of comforting her, he said directly, "Are you getting bored of staying at home? If you think it's dull, come with me to work at the company building tomorrow."
"Huh? Me…?"
"Don't want to go?"
"I do want to go, but what would I do there?" Keira Leaf couldn't help but ask, her eyes brimming with eagerness.
