Shane Winchester seemed to be texting someone, showing no intention of initiating a conversation.
More than two hours passed, and Keira Leaf let out a sigh. Looking at the figure on the drawing board, she couldn't help but curl her lips into a smile.
Collecting her thoughts, she raised her head and stared at Shane Winchester for a while. Then, she picked up the drawing paper and placed it directly in front of him.
Shane Winchester, who had been idly toying with his mobile phone, casually glanced up. Yet, the instant he saw the portrait, he froze on the spot. The smile on his face slowly faded away, as if he'd lost his soul in that moment, leaving him visibly dazed.
With a slight tremble, he lifted his hand to pick up the paper. Sunlight poured over it, merging with the woman depicted on the page.
It was a face so familiar, and yet at this instant, it seemed as though it belonged to someone from centuries ago.
