"Wester, hurry up! If we're any later, we'll miss the show! Or... should I go ahead first? You can bring up the rear with your son?" Sophia was already at the door, shoes on.
"Sophia, I've got this ominous feeling, maybe we should just skip it." Wester picked up his son, wrapped in a baby blanket, and walked up, looking worried.
"No way! Don't you want to see Ethan getting his bottom spanked? Hasn't he bullied you enough?" Sophia couldn't wait to witness the scene, excitedly eager.
"Okay, fine." Wester conceded but wondered, is it really okay?
Over at Sweetheart Cottage
"Wester?" The mobile phone twirled in Kevin Cliff's large hand, his dark eyes narrowing with a chilling glint.
Ethan, meanwhile, nodded vehemently, his eyes fixated on the phone in his dad's hand, terrified it might accidentally break.
"Want it?" Kevin Cliff tucked the phone into his palm and crouched down, smiling as he asked.
Ethan nodded sweetly and reached out to take it back.
