Nicole Serene ran out of the Inpatient building and saw Matilda Jenkins standing outside. She rushed over, grabbing her and trying to move on: "What are you doing? You're sick with a cold, and you've just gotten over the fever. Do you want to get sick again? Let me tell you, recurrent colds are more serious, and they might lead to many complications."
Matilda shook her head: "I can't go back. I have to wait for someone. I saw him."
Nicole was puzzled: "Him? Who?"
Matilda's face and nose were both frozen to a bright red. She said, "It's him... it's Nathaniel York..."
Nicole froze, then shook her head, "This... it's impossible. He... how could... isn't he..."
Matilda responded: "Yes, it's impossible... impossible... but I wish for a miracle. I hope... that he's still alive, because I've never seen his corpse."
