It was a rather strange moment—the man who had stood at the center of every major event, from alien invasions to gods, cosmic beings, and even an angry Hulk, was now choosing to step back and not interfere in the "game/contest/war" between two Dr. Dooms and the superheroes of his own world. At least, not at the beginning.
It was an unexpected development but it was not only because Allen saw no reason to intervene. It also helped that neither Fury nor Tony asked him for help.
Although unknown to Allen, there was a good reason for that. They couldn't depend on him forever. They couldn't expect him to do everything. Tony especially felt uncomfortable having a young man half his age constantly protecting them. As for Fury, maybe he wasn't Allen's friend like Tony, but after all this time, there was respect and consideration for Allen. He, too, believed that throwing all their problems at Allen was wrong—though that didn't mean he wouldn't call him into the Marvel Rivals if things got out of hand.
All this they both decided when they saw how Cecil depended on everything for Allen.
With no involvement in the conflict, Allen chose to focus on his loved ones and on himself, before being pulled into another unpredictable journey...
...
The origin of this dilemma was wrapped in the warmth of two beauties, nestled in the large bed of his first apartment.
Allen gazed at the moonlight coming through the window. Night had already fallen, and MJ and Felicia were in his arms.
It had been a long night session—no need to mention that the temporal isolation had to be used so both girls wouldn't be too exhausted to go to school the next day. Both had collapsed into deep sleep while Allen observed the trail they had left behind, each radiating a unique kind of charm.
MJ—the redheaded girl whose destiny changed the day she decided to follow Allen for the first time—had a slight smile on her face even in sleep. She tended to cling to Allen as if always seeking his attention, and her slightly parted lips occasionally released half-formed words.
Felicia—the silver-haired girl whose fate shifted the day she became interested in the peculiar boy with hair as unique as her own—slept like a selfish cat always seeking comfort. Her attractive face carried a soft blush as if daring others to spoil her. Her natural, sensual breathing made one want to kiss her.
They were both stunning. When Allen first began his journey, before everything, he never imagined that either of them would take an interest in him. Yet here he was, with both in his arms...
'I guess I can't complain…'
Living a life full of constant danger and borderline absurd situations was tough, but considering how things were now, maybe it wasn't so bad.
*Boom*
Allen turned toward the window where he heard another explosion. His brow began to furrow, but he quickly shook his head and calmed down. It wasn't his multiversal war. It wasn't his problem. And it posed no threat to his current life...
'System…'
[Isolating interior sound of the house...]
'Thank you'
[Don't worry~]
Allen took a deep breath and closed his eyes< 'A lot has happened...'
Inside Allen's dreams, a story from the past resurfaced—before Allen became the monster he is now before he was sure of his choices, before he felt so imposing in every situation, before he matured… for better or worse.
...
(DC Universe — Years before the end of the time jumps)
This happened when Allen was nearing the modern era—where he was supposed to get to when he entered this world in the first place.
As usual, he spent time with the Amazons, especially Antiope, Artemis, Diana, and even Hippolyta. Allen trained with some, helped others, chatted, and was even chased by a group of Amazons who wanted to bear his children… you know, the usual.
But something interesting happened...
...
(Hippolyta's Private Bath…)
Hippolyta was taking a bubble bath. She was a beautiful, mature woman with blonde hair, the nobility of a queen, and the presence of a veteran of a thousand battles.
The noble queen kept glancing at the bathroom door as if expecting someone. A light pink flush colored her skin, and it didn't seem to be from the hot water or the rose petals in her grand bathtub.
Hippolyta looked down at her body beneath the water and, for a moment, wondered if she was too old.
She was a woman of hundreds of years BUT, her skin, worthy of an immortal, was soft and smooth—no wrinkles, no blemishes—a beauty once pursued by gods, to the point they nearly destroyed her kingdom for her.
The image of the young man who had protected her sisters was still in her mind—the boy who had changed her perception of men, who had shown her that evil wasn't inherent to any gender… and just as there were beasts in human form, there was also a dazzling young man who had captivated her.
*Knock Knock*
"…!"
Hippolyta came out of her thoughts nervous and embarrassed, but she quickly showed why she had been queen for centuries—those emotions were hidden instantly.
"Come in," she said with the serene dignity and elegance of a true queen.
The door opened, and Allen entered with nothing but a towel. This version of Allen wasn't as confident as he is now, so he felt a little hesitant stepping into the Amazon Queen's private bath.
"Your Majesty…" Allen greeted her politely. Saying he felt awkward seeing his sort-of mother-in-law in such an intimate setting would be an understatement. Still, since he had already chosen to be a scoundrel—and had started a relationship with Diana, despite having Gwen and MJ waiting for him back home—he decided to act with a bit more confidence in such situations.
Hippolyta noticed Allen's nervousness and smiled with the charm and self-assurance of a mature woman.
"Heh~ What's wrong, my dear son-in-law? Embarrassed to see this old queen? Where's the young hero who saved our sisters from Hercules and Ares?"
Allen's eyes widened, but then he smiled. "Your Majesty, you are beautiful, and while I fear no enemy, I would never want to offend you. After all, you honored me with your acceptance—even against your core beliefs."
*Bah-Dum*
Hippolyta felt her heart skip a beat, her chest tightening as a shiver ran down her spine. She had sworn never to fall in love again—Hercules had nearly destroyed her for that. She felt conflicted. Part of her had already accepted Allen as someone worthy of her trust, someone she would even entrust her daughter to. But another part of her was afraid—afraid that beneath that dazzling exterior lay a heartless being who would betray her.
Allen noticed her unease and stepped closer, kneeling beside the large tub.
"For hundreds of years, I've been a ghost in your land, and yet you still allow me to be here…" Allen's eyes were full of clarity and sincerity. "Queen… no, Hippolyta, I will never betray you. As long as you don't betray me first—I swear it on my mother's grave."
Hippolyta was speechless. She had seen thousands of men over hundreds of years—no, even her sisters didn't have eyes that pure. There wasn't the slightest trace of deception or falsehood.
"I know…"
The answer from Hippolyta was quick and without hesitation. Despite her fears, despite her doubts, deep down she knew Allen would never betray Themyscira... as long as she didn't stab him in the back first.
Allen smiled widely at her response. "In that case… what a relief."
The queen's eyes widened at the most charming smile she had ever seen…
Something felt wrong at that moment. She knew it. And yet, she allowed herself to be swept away by a feeling that shouldn't exist…
"...!"
Allen was caught off guard when the Queen extended her arms from the water to wrap them around his neck, and before he could react—Hippolyta kissed him. Allen's first impulse was to pull away, but something stopped him. The queen's soft lips trembled with fear. There was deep fear, pain, and sorrow within that kiss.
Allen couldn't bring himself to push away this wounded woman. So, even though he knew it was wrong, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close as her towel slipped away...
A warm sensation enveloped the queen. The skin-to-skin contact that should have felt unpleasant instead felt comforting, even peaceful. She felt herself relax as her kiss was returned. She felt her heart being filled with something other than pain. The woman allowed herself to surrender, clinging to the man before her.
For that moment, the queen ceased to be a queen. She was simply a woman… giving herself over.
Their caresses grew more intense as their bodies shared each other's warmth, until they gave in completely, becoming one.
That day, a union occurred—perhaps not forbidden, but far too shameful to reveal. So neither Allen nor Hippolyta ever spoke of it again, and even to this day, neither Antiope nor Diana know what happened…
…
Several hours later, the beautiful woman once desired by gods lay in the arms of her young lover. They were still in the queen's private bath, still tangled together, their breaths shallow.
"This… this must stay between us," Hippolyta whispered, her lips still brushing Allen's, her eyes enchanted.
"And what if I don't want it to end here, Your Majesty?" Allen replied, his serious gaze making the queen blush.
"We can't…"
Hippolyta tried to pull away, but Allen held her. Her body was still sensitive, their most intimate parts still in contact; she let out a soft moan.
"Why not?" Allen frowned with concern. Deep down, he already knew the answer.
Hippolyta looked away, both ashamed and disheartened. "You know why… Diana."
Allen replied firmly, "I can make her accept it. You know that."
Seeing Allen's insistence, Hippolyta softened her gaze and stroked his cheek. "Even so… it's not right. Not now. Your destiny is only just beginning… your path will take you to unimaginable places. You can't take on the burden of being my king."
"…"
Allen stayed silent. After being turned down, he wondered if he was pushing too hard.
Hippolyta felt her heartache, but she stayed firm. She knew a relationship with her wasn't right—not now, not for this young Allen who was only starting his journey.
Hippolyta pulled Allen to her chest. "My young hero, I'm not going anywhere. Someday, come to me… and if you still desire this old queen—"
Allen looked annoyed. "Do you really not see how beautiful you are?"
Hippolyta trembled. For a moment, she nearly threw all her reasoning out the window and dragged Allen to her room to make an heir. But she quickly cast that thought aside. Deep down, she knew that beyond what she had just said, the real issue wasn't her— it was Diana. This man would one day be her daughter's husband, the future king. She could not allow herself to start a relationship with him unless Diana and Allen were married. Her principles wouldn't allow it.
…
The next day, Allen—who lived with Diana—was summoned by Hippolyta. This time, Diana came with him. When they met again, it was difficult to ignore the memories that still felt fresh.
"Diana… Allen… thank you for coming. I know that as two young people in love, you must be very busy catching up," Hippolyta said with a teasing smile.
Her words made Diana blush, momentarily losing her warrior composure. Allen, on the other hand, smiled awkwardly, knowing there was a hint of jealousy in her tone.
"Your Majesty?" Antiope raised an eyebrow at the queen's words. Though she suspected something might have happened, she said nothing.
Hippolyta remembered her sister was present—and unlike Diana, if she let her guard down, Antiope might discover something she wasn't supposed to.
"Ahem… Allen, you might not know much about this, but we Amazons, despite not having strong ties with many, do have a few allies. Among them is Atlantis. However, our relationship has deteriorated over time. I've learned that Queen Atlanna has recently been having health issues, and I'd like to send her some remedies from us as a show of renewed goodwill… and I would like you to be our envoy."
"I understand… wait, what?!"
"Sister?!"
"Mother?!"
Both women shouted at the same time. Accepting Allen in Themyscira was one thing—but sending him as an emissary was equivalent to officially recognizing him as part of the Amazon people. It was unheard of.
Hippolyta raised her hand to silence the commotion and looked at both with disdain. "You've been telling me for centuries to accept Allen, and now that I do, you make a scene?"
Both women looked away, ashamed of their outbursts.
"But Hippolyta… are you certain?" Antiope asked, concerned for her queen. This decision was a declaration—a form of recognition that carried serious implications. If Allen were to marry Diana in the future, he would not just be a consort king… he would have real power over the Amazon women.
Hippolyta's gaze locked on Allen before she spoke. "I've already decided. Every action, every word, every gesture of our savior has proven beyond a doubt that he is worthy of our trust."
Feeling the weight of Hippolyta's words, Allen had a moment of hesitation—but he didn't let her down. He knelt. Diana followed suit.
"I will not disappoint your trust," Allen said with determination, accepting the mission to Atlantis… unaware that it would lead to one of the most awkward situations he would ever face.
…
Allen woke up in the morning, sitting on his bed, with MJ and Felicia still sleeping beside him. He covered his face for a moment. He had just dreamed about a memory from his past involving Diana's mother—Queen Hippolyta. Allen had always been honest about his nature as a shameless womanizer… but obviously, he couldn't tell Diana he slept with her mother before he did with her, right?
Allen knew that someday, he had to tell her—preferably before they got married—or he'd officially become trash.
"But that's not even the worst part…" Allen muttered with an awkward smile.
That dream had been a precursor to something even worse that he did in Atlantis… when he was supposed to be representing the Amazon people with dignity.
"There's a good chance Atlanna is still looking for me… probably to cut off my head." Allen laughed bitterly. The thing about growing up is that you realize all the dumb things you did when you were young. Sometimes, they stay as funny memories… and sometimes, they come back to haunt you.
[Host, you totally deserved it -_-]

A/N: Sorry if there is any inconsistency with the Themyscira arc, it's been a while and I don't remember everything clearly.
