Ethan Jenkins gently swayed his glass in his hand, his mood seemed very good today.
This eased Jesslyn Derei's nervous emotions considerably.
Ethan asked, "Do you know the legend of rosemary?"
Jesslyn Derei shook her head, "I haven't heard of that."
"Rosemary has a rich fragrance; it is said that the ancient Hungarian queen liked to bathe with rosemary. Ancient people believed it could enhance memory, hence it was also known as the lighthouse of the sea. When ships lost direction at sea, the lost sailors could rely on this strong fragrance to find land."
Jesslyn Derei nodded thoughtfully.
It was quite interesting, and suited him well.
But this was something Jesslyn Derei dared not say out loud.
If she said that it would strengthen memory, he would certainly think back to her treating him as Brother Ethan, firm in her belief that he had merely lost his memories.
And then, tonight's candlelit dinner would surely end in discord again.
