"Some people you've known for just a couple of months, and you trust them wholeheartedly. Yet you've known me for over ten years, and you're still so distant." Tangmo turned away, his face full of displeasure as he spoke.
"Sister Moumou, there's no need to be so passive-aggressive with me. After all, the person you like isn't me anyway." Cheng Ziang shrugged as he replied.
"Yeah, if only it were you. Your mind is so sharp—unlike certain people, a total blockhead." Tangmo grumbled indignantly.
"Uh..." Luo'er snapped out of his thoughts, only to plunge into an awkward silence again.
"Anyway, Sister Moumou, why don't we go check on that little sister you just took in?" Hu Daoke laughed, stepping in to smooth things over.
"She's my daughter, not my little sister." Tangmo said sharply, still annoyed.
"Daughter, then! Let's go see her." Hu Daoke said as he pushed her by the shoulders, ushering her outside.
