As soon as Nitish began reading the book, he was stunned.
He realized that the amount of time it used to take him to read 10 pages, he could now read 100 pages in the same span!
"No way! This potion is that effective?" Nitish was practically bursting with joy.
He started flipping through the pages rapidly, devouring one book after another.
After about three hours of intense reading, the boost from the potion finally wore off.
"So, its effect only lasts three hours… hmm… I'll need to use this time even more efficiently next time." Nitish began crafting strategies in his mind. No matter what, he couldn't afford to waste these potions.
And just like that, he kept studying…Funny, isn't it? Even in another world, this guy's still studying. The man runs on a completely different system.
Time kept passing, and finally, the three-month beta test was about to end.Today was the last day.
Nitish was still sitting in the library, buried in his final book. Its title was "The Facts About Ancient Gods."
At first, this quest had seemed like a waste of time. But over the weeks, he had begun to realize its true importance.
He now knew so much about the Celestial Domain that he didn't even need to ask NPCs for information anymore.
In fact, he had started to enjoy being in the library so much, the thought of leaving it now felt… strange.
"Phew... finally finished this one too."Nitish had just completed his last book. He had read so many by now, he had lost count.
The moment he slammed the final book down on the table, a notification popped up on his screen:
You have completed the Hidden Quest.
Congratulations!!!
Quest Name:Infinite KnowledgeRank:GodCompletion: 100%Rewards:You have been rewarded the Ultimate Truth Guide. The knowledge you seek… shall always be available to you.
"What in the world… Wait… This quest—"Nitish's head was spinning. He couldn't believe it.
What he had just read—was it actually true?
Was this quest… a God-Rank quest?!
Yes. In the Celestial Domain, special missions—also known as quests—were classified by ranks. And if you were to sort them by difficulty, they went something like this:
ROOKIE → EASY → NORMAL → HARD → EPIC → LEGENDARY → DIVINE → MYTHICAL → GOD
And out of all those, the highest possible rank... was GOD.
The quest Nitish had been working on was a Hidden Quest, meaning its rank had been concealed. But now that it was revealed—It turned out to be GOD-RANK.
Just thinking about it made Nitish feel dizzy. He couldn't wrap his head around it.
"What kind of accidental miracle is this…? Since when did I become this lucky?" he muttered, rubbing his forehead.
But once the realization truly hit him—once he understood what he had achieved—Nitish burst out laughing.
"Hahahaha… Poor? Miserable? Who, me?"The grin on his face was like someone who had just won a war.
As soon as Nitish activated his reward, a brilliant light surrounded him from all sides.
"W-What is this…?"Nitish looked around nervously as the glow grew brighter and brighter.
Suddenly, a portal appeared out of nowhere and teleported Nitish away from the library to an unknown place.
Whooooooooshhhhhh...
As he looked around, Nitish was stunned.
There was nothing around him. Literally nothing. No buildings, no sky, no objects—just an endless stretch of white ground. It felt like Beta Town had completely disappeared.
"You've finally arrived... hahahaha."A deep, booming voice echoed around him. Nitish immediately turned toward the source.
"I've waited for so many years... I never thought anyone would still carry the desire to seek true knowledge."
Sitting on a massive throne was a man draped in flowing crimson robes, complete with an enormous cloak.
But that wasn't the only thing that froze Nitish in place—his body began to sweat involuntarily.
His hands wouldn't move. Neither would his legs.
Why?
Because the aura and power radiating from that man were far beyond anything Nitish could comprehend.
"W-Who are you? And... and what am I doing here?" Nitish stammered.
"Me? People call me by many names... The Divine Explorer. The Seeker of Knowledge. Countless titles... but you may call me Mr. Colbo," the man replied with a calm smile.
"Mr. Colbo... why am I here? What exactly is going on?" Nitish asked, completely overwhelmed.
"This... is your reward. You completed the quest, didn't you?" Colbo said, his tone turning serious.
"Umm... what does any of this even mean?" Nitish was racking his brain, trying hard to recall if he had ever read about someone named Colbo.
Because someone at Colbo's level—someone with this much power—could probably kill him with a mere flick of the hand. He had to be a high-tier being.
Surely, such a being must have been mentioned in the books. But no matter how hard Nitish tried to recall, no such name came to mind.
"I can understand what you're thinking... you're confused. It's alright. I'll explain everything to you—everything you wish to know," Colbo said gently.
"First, tell me why I'm here. Who are you?" Nitish pressed.
"Then listen carefully. Long ago, I journeyed across the world in pursuit of limitless knowledge. I scoured every spell, every place...
You already know about the Great War of the Ancient Gods. So you must also know about the most terrifying god involved in that war.
His name... was Ragnar."
"Ragnar..." Nitish's breath grew shallow hearing that name.
Ragnar—a terrifying ancient god. The one who had started the first divine war. As powerful as he was, he was even more obsessed with gaining power. So much so that in his hunger for a forbidden force, he started a war among all gods.
Eventually, fed up with his madness, the Ten Great Saints joined forces to seal Ragnar away—forever.
"But... what does Ragnar have to do with my quest?" Nitish asked.
"Hmph... the one who played the most crucial role in sealing Ragnar... was none other than me.
I was the one who discovered the method to trap him and helped the Ten Saints carry it out. Beings like me are called 'Divine Enlightens.'"
Nitish was shaken. The person standing before him… was a god. An ancient one at that.
"Then... why am I here now? Why?" Nitish asked, still deeply confused.
"Because you made a choice," Colbo said. "Instead of joining the others in mindless hunting and looting, you devoted yourself entirely to the pursuit of knowledge.
But I know—you do not wish to become a Divine Enlighten like me.
So today, I'm giving you something special. I'm granting you all my knowledge. Everything I've learned. I will reside within your mind, always... guiding you through the riddles and mysteries no one else can solve."
Nitish's eyes widened with disbelief.
"All the knowledge of weapons... of places... I know it all.Hey, child of the heavens... your reward... is me!My infinite knowledge is your prize!"
Just as Colbo finished those words, a notification popped up in front of Nitish:
You have received your reward.~The beta version of Celestial Domain has ended. Please log out.
Before Nitish could even process it, he was teleported back to the library. And in the blink of an eye—his game automatically logged out.
"AAAAAH—h-huh—huhhh!"Nitish suddenly jolted upright from his bed, panting, drenched in sweat.
"What... what just happened to me?" he whispered, completely dazed.
The moment he closed his eyes again, a voice echoed in his mind:
This is your system guide. You currently do not have in-game access. Please wait.
Nitish felt like he was losing it.
"System guide...? In-game access...? If this is what I think it is... then—holy crap..."
The more he thought about it, the more shocked he became.
If he really analyzed it... this quest had just given him all the knowledge there was about Celestial Domain.Which meant—while everyone else would be starting from scratch, he already knew everything.
That thought alone sent him leaping across the bed with joy.
"YAYYYY!!! WOOHOOO!!! THIS IS INSANE!! I HIT THE JACKPOT!!"Nitish bounced on his bed so hard, it looked like he might break it.
"No one can stop me now... The moment Celestial Domain officially launches... I'm going to set it on fire!"
He was bursting with excitement.
"And since I was a beta tester, I don't even have to buy it. The company already mentioned in the contract that the teleportation device is now permanently mine.
Nice. Let me check the release date real quick."
Nitish turned on his phone and checked.
"One week left... hmm."
He decided that until Celestial Domain officially launched, he'd go back to school.
Out of the three months of beta testing, two had fallen during summer break. And for the past month, he'd been attending school regularly anyway—so this week would be no different.
Now let's see what fate has in store for Nitish...When Celestial Domain launches, will he rise above everyone else? Will he become the best?
Stay tuned to find out... what happens next.
