Kang lowered his head and bowed deeply, staying silent. He didn't dare say anything that could make Reign angry.
"Thank you for accepting someone so unworthy like me to be your student."
"At least you know your place."
Reign waved his hand, and two chairs appeared out of nowhere—solid and detailed.
Kang stared in disbelief. There were no hand signs, no spirit energy, nothing. They just formed.
'Is this some ancient technique?' he wondered. 'Or something even beyond that?'
"Now..." Reign's voice pulled him back to focus.
"I've been isolated for a long time and just woke up. So tell me everything you know about this world—start from the beginning."
Kang wasn't surprised. In this world, some beings lived for millions of years. Others found ways to undergo nirvana and return in new forms. He was the same—though how he was reborn here remained a mystery.
He sat straighter and began explaining.
