Always lying at the doorstep of Jin Yutao's house, leaning against the food bowl labeled "Bones," the dog, upon hearing a noise, barely lifted its head, and with its one intact eye, looked at the two people in front of it, whining softly.
It must have not eaten anything all day, looking very hungry, but even so, lying in front of the food bowl filled with its favorite braised pork, it couldn't open its mouth to eat.
Tianxin clearly saw that its mouth was tightly wrapped by loops of tape.
Upon seeing them, Bones whimpered softly and then lay motionless on the ground.
"Bones!?" Jin Yutao suppressed the shock in his heart, took a few quick steps and ran over to Bones, not caring that its dirty fur might soil his clothes, and scooped it into his arms.
"What happened!? How could Bones become like this..." Tianxin looked at Bones, who was barely breathing, and couldn't help but burst into tears.
