"Thinking about seeing that bunch of uncles and old guys tomorrow really irritates me. I really don't want to go."
"Don't be annoyed. Take a bath and relax."
Facing Emily's complaint, Katerina responded casually.
She knew very well how this genius detective, lauded by outsiders, was actually quite undisciplined in her personal life.
Or rather, capricious, prone to throwing little temper tantrums now and then.
Aside from her intelligence and cute appearance, Emily was what one might call a 'hopeless case'—if no one looked after her daily life, she'd become incredibly slovenly, with no other redeeming qualities to be found.
"Those guys can just go die."
Emily continued to complain as she walked to the middle of the stairs and pressed the light switch, turning on the lights on the second floor in advance.
She didn't like being in the dark.
"This is all Dio's fault. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be sitting there listening to those boring people talk about boring things."
