SELANE'S PUB:
"Asha what's wrong with you? You haven't been taking work seriously and now you're ill." Madam Selane complained once she found Asha resting during work hours.
"Madam Selane, I'm really tried today, can I go home and rest I promise to come early tomorrow and finish up." Asha begged.
"No! you think you can fool me?" Madam Selane shouted at Asha.
"What do you mean?" She asked, confused.
"I know you have a boyfriend, and you meet him secretly at home behind my back, right?" She questioned as Asha shook nervously under her gaze.
"How do you know that?" Asha asked, fiddling with her fingers.
"I know everything and from the looks of it I have seen that guy somewhere, who is he by the way?" Madam Selane asked.
"Madam Selane, we met a few weeks back." She replied almost at the verge of tears.
"Don't cry just tell me who he is and what's his name?" Madam Selane asked.
"He...He is the crown prince's bodyguard Tayler." She replied.
"oh my god! You also want to be like Iris, getting married into the royal lineage." Madam Selane laughed.
"The only difference is that she got married to the crown prince and you want to get married to his bodyguard." She stated.
"So, when is your wedding?" She asked.
"I don't want to get married." Asha replied as she shook her head.
"Asha, what did you just say?" Madam Selane inquired angrily.
"I said I don't want to get married.'' She repeated as Madam Selane landed a slap on her face.
"You don't want to get married and you're going out shamelessly with that man.'' She shouted.
"You're a disgrace to your late mother and I.'' She said as Asha cried the more.
"Look at me, you need to get married to that Tayler at any cost.'' She stated a giving her a stern look.
"Madam Selane, I already told him I don't want to get married.'' Asha replied.
"Listen know Asha, I give you just one week to tell Tayler that you're ready to get married or else consider me dead in your life." She threatened as Asha widened her eyes in shock.
"I've carried this burden for 10 year and that's because I promised your mother that I'll take care of you." She said pointing at her.
"You've found a man, so let him take care of you."
"Burden?" Asha cried.
"Yes, you've been a burden to me, so why don't you get married to relieve that burden." Madam Selane stated.
"Look at me Asha, I'm only saying all this so you can see the logic in this." She tried to explain.
"What if that guy leaves you and runs away with another woman, what are you going to do then?" She asked.
"No Tayler can't leave me, he loves me very much." Asha argued, shaking her head at the thought.
"That's what you think, you're not his heart and mind." She spoke.
"Listen Asha you better act fast before it's all gone." Madam Selane reminded.
