Back to the Teleportation station,
"A-Are you alright?" Finnian asked in a soft, shaky voice, his eyes full of worry as he stepped toward Vesperine. She was crouched down, sitting at the corner of the Teleportation station's stairway, hugging herself tightly. Her posture was guarded, trembling faintly, like someone who had just been violated or touched in the worst way.
Her head slowly turned toward him. Her eyes were glistening with unshed tears, her cheeks flushed in a deep beet-red hue. The way she looked at him—full of hurt and rage—made his heart skip a beat.
"A-Alright?" she growled through trembling lips. "After to-touching me... there... in p-p-public?" Her voice cracked with a mix of humiliation and fury. Her glare could've melted stone.
