Ava schooled her features, her eyes never leaving Audrey's.
"I know nothing of what you're asking, Audrey. I just want to stay here until the rogue attack is over." Ava spoke gently.
Audrey stood from Lake's lap, "Fine, then. Keep it that way. If you want to do otherwise, I'd ask Melody for some experienced advice; also, remember her words, she doesn't joke with them." She pointed at Green.
"I don't," Green agreed.
"Please, Melody, take your friend with you," Audrey said and stepped out from between the table and Lake.
Melody slowly stood, and Ava, too.
"Thank you, Alpha -"
"It wasn't me who let you stay. It was Audrey," He said.
Melody gritted her teeth, anger swimming within her.
"Thank you for your hospitality, Audrey," Ava smiled in appreciation.
"Thank you, Audrey," Melody smiled, too.
"Aww, they're so cute. Aren't they, Green?" Audrey asked, smirking.
"They are," Green said and walked toward the door.
