"How long?" the guard asked, clearly not excited to be here and working this time.
It was expected, given that most of the guards at Yena were once revered warriors who had done their best on the battlefield. Funny how that had only earned them what seemed like an endless relief while guarding a hospital that no one ever cared to attack.
The one place that no one in their right mind would even think of coming to, and yet Kiyomi Kimura, the rogue who was being hunted across all realms, stood there before the guard, like this was just another day for her.
Perhaps he couldn't see her through the window of her SUV, but that wouldn't matter as much, because her goal was to get into Yena by all means possible, and the guard was stationed against threats like her. Yet she didn't seem as fazed.
