"Xu Ke?"
Mo Shangjun read the name aloud, her expression tinged with doubt.
"Yeah," Xiu Yi nodded, "The name's easy to remember. I've seen her once, she came to borrow soy sauce from Shen Qing."
"Just soy sauce?" Mo Shangjun asked.
"Yeah, didn't even step inside," Xiu Yi confirmed.
Xu Ke had a memorable aura and looks.
After sending Xu Ke away, Shen Qing even muttered a few words about her being fake… hard to forget, really.
"Oh."
Mo Shangjun squinted slightly.
"Is there a problem with her?" Sensing something off, Xiu Yi promptly asked.
"No idea," Mo Shangjun shrugged, "but I do know her."
"I see."
Xiu Yi nodded slightly and didn't press further.

Xiu Yi initially planned to take Mo Shangjun to a better place for a meal, but Mo Shangjun casually picked a spot near the neighborhood—one Chen Lu had mentioned before, saying there were a few good restaurants nearby and promising to take her one day.
