Rather than calling it the Melvin family's inheritance,
it would be more accurate to say that it is an earthbound curse entwined upon the surname "Melvin."
As long as the Melvin clan still resides on this land, as long as they continue to accept the "Melvin" education—that is, becoming Divine children—the curse cannot be eradicated.
The so-called "Divinity" is essentially becoming more like the intangible god in nature. By means of the law of similarity, one attains a certain divinity.
The precognition, telekinesis, and creation powers of the Divine children are, in essence, because they fundamentally belong to the clergy of this "intangible god."
Of course, according to the terminology... they cannot be called clergy yet, but rather "Shamans" or "Prophets". Gold rank Transcendents, indeed, have the capability to bestow others with special abilities through various means, but it is not systematic.
