"Cloud Manta!" As soon as Gaven heard the name, a distinctive image of a colossal creature immediately appeared in his mind.
This creature is one of Felen's most majestic flying beings. Upon reaching adulthood, they possess a body size larger than that of the Ancient Golden Dragon, starting at a minimum of twenty meters.
If it doesn't dive down for a hunt, from the ground, it looks like a cloud floating in the sky. Coupled with its resemblance to a ray fish swimming in the ocean, it has earned its name.
Upon reaching adulthood, they are invincible in the air, apart from adult Giant Dragons. Rocs, Gryphons, Pegasi, Spiketail Lions, and other large aerial beasts all fall prey to them.
Most of the time, they target herds of beasts on the ground as their prey. Due to their colossal body, their speed is exceptionally slow, making it impossible for them to chase aerial creatures unless those creatures court disaster themselves.
