Xin Chen took one look and knew this was Gu Tao's specialty. So, under Xiuling's guidance, he used this convenient and fast ordering machine... and ordered a chicken curry, pork rib stew with potatoes, and beef with green peppers.

Xin Chen paused from his chaotic meal to look up and give a wry smile. "A life of utter destitution. Watching my father die of illness, my mother abandon my brother and me to remarry, me accomplishing absolutely nothing, my brother starving to death, and me dying at seventy, frozen on the streets."
Xiuling shuddered; how miserable must one's life be to experience such things?
