Chapter 216 - Chapter 216: The Grander Scale

With the satellite, they would be able to track any person that they wished regardless of their location however what surprised them was that there was more to the world that they had anticipated.

'It would seem that there is more than I had initially thought. Sadly what I lack is time.' Lirien mused as she glanced at Andrew who was deep in his breakfast. They were all used to the same continent that spanned wide and far however it would seem that there was another, equally big as theirs filled with life.

"I'm sure that all of you want to check it out and one of you can accompany me there if you'd wish." He went on as the ladies exchanged glances. 'Does this mean...'

"I'll go." Arabella was the first to say so. In her mind, she wanted to avoid the whole demonic crack thing and if this was what she needed to to then she was ready to do it. 'This cheeky girl.' Already aware of her tactics, Andrew finished up with his meal.

Sevyn also wanted to accompany him however the fact that she had a kingdom to run posed an interference. As for Lirien, she wanted to stay away from Andrew given that her nature.

He wanted her to view him in another light but forcing her wasn't the way to it given that she seemed determined with her task already at hand. "Can I come with you?" Vivienne added on to which he gave a nod of approval.

*Boom*

The doors opened once more and Ashley's figure could be seen walk in. She seemed way out of place given her carefree and casual demeanor. With her near omnipotence and omnipresence, she was aware of what he had proposed.

"Ashley, so what is your final conclusion?" Sevyn was perplexed as she wondered what Andrew was referencing. She couldn't recall any conversation that resulted with her making a decision.

"Fine I agree but just for you." She gave a sigh as she made her presence right on his lap. The most carefree out of all of them and they were all used to such a scene. "It's not like we won't be in touch." He urged as he wrapped his arms around her.

She tilted her mass about, as if contemplating about it before collapsing deep into his chest. "I know but still..." 'What is she talking about?' Vivienne couldn't comprehend what she was talking about.

*BOOOOOM*

What happened next was something that none of them would've anticipated. It would seem that the entire world came to a stop as a dangerous threat lurked in the air, as if trying to swallow everything in existence.

Other than the monstrous pair, the rest couldn't wrap their heads as to what was going on and just as quick as it came, the feeling wore off. The gaze of being stared at by a cosmic horror that they couldn't comprehend was mentally jarring but it didn't last long.

Taking another glance at Andrew, they noted that Ashley was gone. 'What was that?!?!?' They all had questions in their heads however they were scared of raising it. "Ashley will be gone for a while, just don't bother your frail minds."

He mused as he rose to his feet and glanced outside. Lirien ready to leave stood up the first. "You don't mind if I take care of the crack right now, do you?" Her tone firm but beneath that was fear. "Sure, I don't mind." And with that, her presence instantly vanished from the hall and back to the dome.

Sevyn despite her curiosity had other matters to attend to as she took her leave leaving Arabella and Vivienne with him. "So when do you want to leave?" He asked, his turn facing the two. "I don't mind leaving right now but do you mind if we explored the place a bit?"

Vivienne mused to which he turned around, his left hand pocketed. "I don't mind, what about you Arabella?" He shrugged it off as the two pairs of eyes landed on the pink haired girl. She seemed visibly distraught from the exchange of earlier.

Vivienne and Andrew glanced at each other as if with a knowing look before his figure appeared right behind her chair. Pulling it back, it was clear that he wanted her to stand up. "What was that?" She asked, still seated.

"Arabella, you have to know that there are other worlds other than this operating on vastly different rules and mechanics unlike this and other than worlds, there are other planes of existence. What you caught a glimpse of was a being from a higher plane than the one you're used to."

His hands resting on the head rest to which he glanced at her figure. She was the shortest one present among all of them. Sevyn was slightly taller than Andrew, Ashley, Lirien and Vivienne were of the same height if not slightly smaller and her was shorter than the rest.

"Let me show you what resides within this universe." He turned the chair to have it face him as he extended his hand to her. Vivienne walked up to the two as she coupled her arm around his free hand.

She recovered from her shock as she placed her hand in his, feeling his soft palm and in an instant the three figures disspeared from sight.

*Whoosh*

The three appeared way high up in the sky, their altitudes somewhere at the stratosphere level as they looked down at the world beneath them. Arabella was scared out of her wits given the sudden change of venue, her chest rapidly heaving.

'Just calm down Arabella.' He urged in her mind as he increased his grip on her hand. The three stood on an imaginary platform making it seem as of that they would fall to their deaths. Sure the idea of heights wasn't new to her given that there were artifacts for this however this high up was unprecedented.

She was able to calm herself in the end and take in the scene that she was exposed to. She could see Sablestone from where she was, all appearing as if a speck and much farther away, she could see other kingdoms as well. A shield visor covered both their faces as the black slime wrapped around their figures however Andrew remained the same.

She felt like a god in her mind however another shift occurred and now, the three appeared way above in the air that they could see the entire continent and the other that they had been notified off.

Other than those, they were capable of seeing much smaller ones thanks to the enhacion of the visors. Similar to an advanced space suit designed for any situation. All kids of data ran through their systems and looking around, Arabella could see the vast emptiness of space.

The idea of nothingness existing and stretching for infinity came as a shock to her before they moved once more and now, the entire planet came off as a marble and similar others came into view thanks to the suit they had.

They could also sense the satellites that had been launched by the androids back at the island. But what was hard to miss was the large burning ball of gas into the distance. Factors such as cosmic radiation and intense coldness was still present, only neutralized by the slime.

As for Andrew, he could easily alter reality to have it such that all the hazards posed Jo threat to him. Arabella was still stunned that there was more to the world that she had initially thought however before she could fully endorse this idea, the trio flashes back to the dining hall in the castle.

"There's much more to it than that but that's for another time." He mused as he let go of her hand however she didn't to which he didn't mind. Reading her mind, he could tell what she wanted from him, issuing a space shuttle to be under production with his system back at the island.

"But for now, how about you rest up before we head there. We'll leave tomorrow." Realizing that she was still clutching to his hand, she nervously let go before taking her leave. "You shouldn't have scared her so much." Vivienne urged, still in his embrace.

"Yeah, I guess that it was a bit too much for her." His tone lighthearted as he glanced at Arabella's direction before shifting his attention towards Vivienne. He had several issues he wanted to resolve with her thus once more, their figures flashed again.

...

"Give me all the schematics and data that I'll need." Lirien mused as she glanced around at the vault talking to Ophelia who was standing behind her. "It would seem that the pressure would kill you but a lot of the slime's properties negate all of them. From pressure, to movement and the corrupted mana down there."

"It shouldn't be that much of a problem for you however do note that I sense multiple individuals far stronger than you thus retreat if the situation gets way too perilous for you down there." Ophelia urged as she looked at Lirien who was getting ready to take her leave.

Standing on a teleportation platform, her slime wrapped around her body but before she could leave, Arabella's presence made her halt hee actions. "Arabella, what is it?" She asked, her tone carrying a hint of wariness and suspicion.

Arabella glanced around as if in a full blown panic attack however Ophelia was able to soothe her thanks to her access to the slime wrapping her body and resulting with a her heartbeat slowing down.

She looked at Lirien who had made her way over to her and tried to help her up. "Do you mind if I come with you?" Taken aback with her statement but fine, she nodded as she went on with her questions as to why she was so scared. At first she thought that he had exposed her to a scene she had seen before but that wasn't the case.

"I saw it all, the entire world. It is merely a speck amongst it all." Her tone equalling that of a complete lunatic. "She's having an existential crisis. After a few hours of meditation, she should be fine." Ophelia urged as she glanced at the pair before teleporting out of the room.

Lirien was able to completely soothe her after an hour. It was hard given that she had never been put in such a situation not to mention she couldn't properly calm her given that she couldn't comprehend what she was babbling about.

"How about we take care of some demons and we get it all over with, huh?" Arabella had calmed down to which she gave a light nod. Firing the platform once more, the two were taken to the crack.

...

Two figures could be seen on the moon of the planet, looking down at earth. They were Andrew and Vivienne who seemed rather calm as their figures floated ever so slightly above the ground, their demeanor completely carefree.

"To treat me like garbage after all the things that I've done for him in this world and the one before this one. It's just so frustrating!" Vivienne mused as the two communication with their minds. "It's a shame that he couldn't understand what you have had to do to sacrifice for him. Endangering your life for him is extremely noble and noteworthy."

He mused as the two kept on looking at the earth. "Do you want to talk to him?" He urged. "No, he's not my brother. Not any more." She concluded as she let out a frustrated groan. She had gone through hell to help him but he saw her as a slut, using her body to get help despite that not being the case.

Sure there were multiple times Andrew could have taken advantage of her but he refrained from doing so and she respected and appreciated him for doing so but Julian's anger clouded his judgement. A phrase of eat the rich resulting with suh a deep hatred for Andrew.

Then again Andrew wasn't a saint. He had claimed lives of so many beings that he stopped caring about it. Extinguished lives on a genocidal scale, devouring planes of existence thus Julian had every right to hate him but the premise for it to begin with was at fault.
