"Yes, it was a human at some point," replied Sol in a low tone. But he followed that soon up in a sterner voice.
"But, not anymore Damon. Although I can't say what kind of human he had been, I can assure you, once cursed, they all become monsters."
With great difficulty Damon calmed his mind down a bit. It did help that he himself believed the creature to be foul, but still some guilt lingered inside his heart. From the first day he arrived in this world he had wondered whether he would have to kill humans.
Sadly, now it didn't matter whether he wanted to or not. He had already killed a human, cursed or not. Whenever he had read a novel where earthlings hesitated in killing or were considerate, he had scoffed. The irony!
"Are you sure that it was evil? Or are you just assuming?" Verified Damon.
There might be a chance that cursed humans were misunderstood and were just scraping by to survive. As an ostracized group they might have to retaliate, causing the entire bad name.
