One bandit, attempting to regain some confidence, raised his sword and charged, shouting a battle cry. But Alex was quicker—he sidestepped with ease, his blade flashing as it moved in a swift arc. In one clean motion, Alex disarmed the bandit, sending his weapon flying into the sand. The bandit staggered, eyes wide in panic, before Alex's sword was at his throat.
"Mercy, please!" the bandit begged, his voice shaking.
Alex didn't reply. Instead, with a sharp twist, he knocked the bandit unconscious with the flat of his blade, sending him crumpling to the ground in a heap.
The final bandit, now completely panicked, turned and ran for his life, leaping onto his horse in a desperate bid to escape. But Alex was already on the move, his speed unmatched. He dashed forward, catching up to the fleeing bandit in mere seconds.
