"I wish to serve you, my lord. Please grant me this honor," Raiko requested, her voice filled with sincerity.
Hearing her words, Shishou was taken aback, staring at her with a mixture of surprise and bemusement. He had expected Raiko to ask for something like training in Kaguya's primordial ecosystem, but her true desire turned out to be something completely unexpected—she was enamored with him!
Up until now, Shishou hadn't given much thought to Raiko in that way. However, now that the idea was presented, he couldn't help but notice her beauty—her fair skin, red lips, and most notably, her rare and stunning white hair.
Kneeling before him, Raiko anxiously awaited his response. She had spent years trying to win his favor, carefully learning his likes and dislikes. She didn't want to miss this opportunity.
Shishou looked down at Raiko, who was patiently kneeling at his feet, and after a moment of contemplation, he spoke, "You may ask for something else."
He already had plenty of women by his side and saw no need to complicate things further. Besides, if Raiko became his lover, it would complicate her role in his plans.
Raiko's face turned pale at his words. She lifted her head and asked, her voice tinged with desperation, "Do you truly have no interest in me at all, my lord?"
Shishou gave her a calm glance and said, "Let's talk about this later."
With that, he reached out and placed his hand on Raiko's forehead, erasing the curse mark he had once placed on her soul.
"Focus on your training," he said softly before turning to leave the room.
As she watched him walk away, Raiko touched her forehead, feeling a sense of sadness wash over her. If this had happened in the past, she might have been overjoyed to be freed from the curse mark. But now, she felt nothing but disappointment.
Gritting her teeth, Raiko stood up and grabbed Shishou's sleeve, her voice determined as she said, "Are you planning to go back on your word?"
Shishou turned back to face her, his eyes narrowing slightly. He hadn't expected Raiko to be so insistent on this matter.
With a sigh, he decided to indulge her. In one swift motion, he lifted her off her feet and tossed her onto the bed.
If Raiko was this resolute, then he saw no harm in playing the role of the bold hero.
Two hours later.
Shishou emerged from Mount Myōboku, stretching his back with a satisfied grin. He had to admit, Raiko's body was incredibly supple, and she had certainly put a lot of effort into pleasing him—even going so far as to prepare costumes for the occasion.
As soon as he left Mount Myōboku, a red, ethereal letter appeared before him. Recognizing it as a message from Kaguya, Shishou tapped it open.
Although Kaguya had long since left the moon, she still preferred communicating with him through these letters, likely to avoid any awkward moments.
As the letter unfolded, Shishou skimmed through its contents. The message was straightforward: Get back here, now!
With a chuckle, Shishou closed the letter and used his space-time ninjutsu to teleport to the Land of Ancestors.
The moment he appeared on Kaguya's expansive terrace, she approached him hurriedly, her voice laced with urgency, "Momoshiki and Kinshiki disappeared just now—did you summon them?"
Since Momoshiki and Kinshiki had become Shishou's servants, Kaguya had taken full advantage of their subservience, relishing in the power dynamic and fully embracing her role as the mistress of the household. Shishou figured she was starting to imagine herself as the matriarch of the entire Ōtsutsuki clan.
Before she could continue, Kaguya suddenly frowned and activated the red Rinne Sharingan on her forehead, scrutinizing Shishou carefully.
Finally, she asked, "What have you been up to?"
As someone with the Rinne Sharingan, Kaguya could sense that Shishou was somehow different from before. It felt as though he had been gone from her side for a long time, even though she knew he had just returned.
Shishou froze at her question.
"Hmph!" Kaguya snorted, "And I don't mean those other women."
Shishou's interactions with other women couldn't escape her notice, but she had chosen not to pursue the matter.
Feeling a bit sheepish, Shishou scratched his head and then took Kaguya's hand, leading her to a nearby chaise lounge. He explained, "Urashiki recently arrived in the ninja world."
Kaguya's expression immediately darkened at the mention of Urashiki. He wasn't like Momoshiki or Kinshiki—Urashiki was a fully-powered Bloodline Limit wielder, possessing strength on par with her and Shishou. More importantly, as a member of the main family of the Ōtsutsuki clan, Urashiki likely had access to some of the clan's most powerful artifacts.
However, Kaguya relaxed when she glanced at Shishou, who had pulled her down onto the chaise beside him. His calm demeanor suggested that the threat had already been neutralized.
As they lay there, Shishou began recounting his experiences over the past few days.
"Time travel?" Kaguya's eyes widened in surprise when she heard that Urashiki had possessed an artifact capable of time travel—the Plow.
As a member of the Ōtsutsuki branch family, Kaguya had never been privy to the full extent of the clan's artifacts or their capabilities. She was also taken aback by the fact that Shishou had actually traveled through time and spent a year or two in another era.
No wonder she had sensed something different about him earlier—it turned out he had really been away from her side for a few years.
Realizing this, Kaguya instinctively hugged Shishou's arm closer to her chest.
Shishou retrieved the Ōtsutsuki artifact, the Plow, from his Kamui space and showed it to Kaguya with a smile. "Here, this is it."
Kaguya glanced at the small, pink turtle in Shishou's hand and said flatly, "That belonged to Ōtsutsuki Isshiki."
She remembered seeing Urashiki discard the artifact long ago, but she had been too preoccupied with pursuing Isshiki at the time to retrieve it.
"Anyway, what happened to Urashiki?" Kaguya asked, curious about the outcome.
Shishou casually tossed the little turtle back into his Kamui space and grinned at her. "He's just like Momoshiki and Kinshiki now—a servant."
Shishou had no intention of telling anyone about his journey back to the year of his birth.
Kaguya stared at Shishou in disbelief. "What did you just say?"
"I said, he's a servant now, just like Momoshiki and Kinshiki," Shishou repeated, his tone unwavering.
Kaguya was utterly stunned. Urashiki was a Bloodline Limit wielder, just like her. She never imagined that Shishou would be able to subdue him as well.
And not just any Bloodline Limit wielder—Urashiki was a member of the main branch of the Ōtsutsuki clan!
