Chapter 198 Delicate Magic Circle
Aleshia presented the circle to Lucia, who examined it closely. Lucia offered constructive criticism and praised ideas that she hadn't considered. After some discussion, Lucia confirmed that she could activate the circle. However, a problem arose: Aleshia had focused on conjuring the circle outside the patient's body for visibility, while Lucia had previously manipulated it from within.

After painstakingly attaching the circle to the body, Aleshia and Lucia were finally ready to activate it. They carefully examined the circle to determine whether it would work. After confirming their checks, they felt it was time to proceed. As before, with the help of Lucia's nature magic, she enhanced the body's natural healing rate and recovery while the magic circle purged the person of their illnesses and curses.
Aleshia watched the patient as the glowing circle and Lucia's magic radiated beneath their skin. During this time, Lucia maintained careful control over her magic. Once the process was complete, they collapsed into their respective chairs—Aleshia seated normally while Lucia perched on Aleshia's head.
Soon after, Aleshia heard the patient start to choke. She quickly rushed to their side, conjuring a bolt of water and directing it into the patient's mouth to wash away whatever was causing the choking.
After clearing the phlegm from the patient's mouth, they calmed down, relaxed their convulsing body, and fell asleep. Aleshia panicked when the patient fell asleep, fearing that they had died, but Lucia reassured her that the patient was only resting.
Aleshia felt relief wash over her as she settled into a chair. She realized the immense mental strain Lucia must have endured each time, along with the constant worry of caring for someone else's life. After gathering her thoughts, Aleshia stood up and walked to a sleeping area. Weary from all the adventures and the mentally exhausting procedures of the day, she lay down to rest.
