Alice announces with confidence despite her thin build, making Desmond think that she's just pumped with adrenaline.
"You do know that your previous strike did not hurt. I am merely surprised that you could do such a thing."
Desmond lightly massages his cheek which was hit by the light punch.
Alice narrows her eyes down.
'Magic that needs direction are affected by the disruption. In that case, short range and instantaneous spells with no directives might just do the trick!'
She ducks under and dashes towards Desmond with confidence.
"Y-You're approaching me like a duelist? Do you really want to do this?!"
Desmond readies the paper, placing it in front of him as he puts his hand out and clenches his fist, producing a shortcut in front of Alice who is currently marching towards him.
