Mingzhu hadn't spoken to Yueyao for two days and was feeling suffocated. She wanted to make up with Yueyao, but the thought of Yueyao criticizing her Brother Xuan as utterly worthless made her choke with anger.
Mingzhu softly said to Bai Yi that as long as Yueyao apologized to her and never spoke ill of Brother Xuan again, she would forgive Yueyao's rudeness. However, Yueyao completely ignored her and went about her business as usual, infuriating Mingzhu so much that she felt a lump of blood stuck in her chest.
Early one morning, Bai Yi smiled and said, "My lord, Miss Yueyao's brother, Young Master Tingzheng, will arrive at noon. I have already instructed the Kitchen Maid to prepare additional dishes." It was obvious that Tingzheng's visit to the villa meant he had something to discuss with the hostess, Mingzhu.
