Rowan's declaration left both his father and Eliman utterly, completely confused, they could only stare at him, stunned and astonished with open mouths.
Eliman had already begun drifting closer toward Rowan and Dragun.
The monsters around them instantly halted their attacks when Rowan landed right in their midst.
They growled and screeched and made a cacophony of noise, yet not a single one really dared to move closer toward Rowan. Whether they felt fear, confusion, or some baffling mix of both, the blood mage could not discern their intentions.
"What happened, Rowan? Where did you go? How did you suddenly become stronger, and where exactly in hell did you get that sword?"
Eliman had a lot of questions he would like to ask at the moment, but the situation would not allow him.
Even Dragun still had many questions.
