"Purple, why are you here?" Theo pretended to exclaim in surprise.
"Since when do you go by Purple?" the youth's two friends looked at him strangely.
"Good brother, I think there must be a misunderstanding. Once dice opponents, brothers for life, right? You even loaned me some money to play with you, you surely will help me to calm down all these guards!" Theo faked enthusiasm as he lightly jumped off the stage, ignoring the ten different spears and swords aimed at him by the guards.
As for the young aristocrats, they stood proudly, not planning on moving a finger. Guards existed for fighting; rich kids existed to enjoy life and order others to do their bidding.
"Purple, didn't you say this kid was your enemy? How come he's so chummy with you?" The girl asked with a short laugh, her previous sour mood seemed to lighten a bit.
But Purple didn't appreciate it. "Don't call me purple! Kid, my name is Norman from the Beaumont family, you better remember it."
